1. Number of vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease depending on actual requirement.
2. In case of non-availability of reserved candidate’s vacancies will be filled against any other category to meet mandatory MCI requirement.
ESIC reserves right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decisions will be binding on all concerned.
Candidate intended to apply for multiple cadres in same department may submit separate applications.
Age relaxation is applicable to reserved candidates as per rules in force.
Candidates claiming reservation on grounds of OBC should submit the community certificate in updated original as per Annexure - A, as prescribed vide Govt, of India, Dept, of personnel and training O.M No 36036/2/2013Estt. (Res.) dated 30.05.2014 failing which benefits of reservation/age relaxation will not be given. Certificate issued in other format will not be accepted and candidate will be treated as general category for all purpose.
The EWS candidates can submit EWS certificate as per Annexure-I of Govt, of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, DOPT Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019. Proforma enclosed as Annexure -I.

Note : The crucial date for determining the age limit and other criteria regarding eligibility for the post shall be the date of Interview.
a. ESIC has adopted Consolidated Remuneration structure for Contractual Faculty(Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor as per ESIC Headquarters letter No. A -12/16/6/2018 (Contractual-Exam) dated: 23/01/2018.
b. Candidates appointed on contractual basis will be paid Consolidated Pay as per 7th CPC. Details are as under:

c. In addition to above, No other allowances like D.A, N.P.A, HRA etc. would be payable.
d. No Private Practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
e. Retirees from Central/State Govt./PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the post may also apply.
a. Selected candidates shall be appointed on purely contractual basis for the maximum period of one year or till the joining of regular faculty whichever is earlier.
b. The Contractual engagement may be terminated / discontinued on either side giving one-month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
c. Candidates selected to the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor have to deposit an amount of Rs. 85,000.00 as security deposit. The security deposit will be forfeited in case the selected candidates resigns/leaves within 06 months of reporting.
d. Other terms and condition will be applicable as issued by competent Authority from time to time.
e. This being 01 Year contract, absence for period beyond 15 days will be treated as abandonment of duty and the contract will be terminated without any reason and security deposit will be forfeited.
a. Candidate can Walk-in and Register for interview from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on 18.05.2020 (For Professor & Asso. Professor) and 19.05.2020 (For Assistant Professors).
b. ) Application shall be downloaded from the website of ESIC viz. esic.nic.in. However, the same can be collected from the Interview Venue, New Academic Block, ESIC MC & PGIMSR (Ground floor), Rajajinagar, Bangalore, in person.
c. ) Candidates should produce all the original documents in respect of all the parameters filled in the form during scrutiny on the day of Walk-in-Interview of concerned posts.
d. ) Candidates are requested to report by 9 A. M at the venue on the scheduled dates.
e. ) Candidates are requested to bring all relevant Original certificates and their self-attested photocopies (1 sets), 2 copies of passport size photographs and the relevant certificates issued by the competent authority in the form prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training for consideration of reservation to the reserved candidates. Failing which they will not be allowed for interview.
a. Selection will be made on basis of interview of candidates which will be conducted by the duly constituted Selection Board.
b. All eligible candidates should apply in the application format available at the Registration Counter of the Interview Venue as well as in the ESIC website, on 18.05.2020 and 19.05.2020, as per the Interviews scheduled.
c. Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of Offer of Appointment.
d. The final selection will be based purely on performance in the personal interview.
