CSD Canteen Online Token : Jharkhand Liquor Token System for purchase of liquor. Jharkhand Excise Department on Tuesday gave nod for the resumption of sale of liquor in the state from May 20. The shops have been allowed to remain open between 7 am and 7 pm.
Along with sale on counters, consumers will also be able to buy liquor online through Swiggy and Zomato. Moreover, for those who do not wish to stand in queues, the state government has launched an e-token system, wherein people will be able to reserve a time slot and select the location by logging in to jhexcisetoken.nic.in/excisetoken.
The Jharkhand government had generated a revenue of more than Rs 150 crores every month through the excise department before the lockdown. Now, it targets to generate more than Rs 300 crore every month.
Get the E-Token for Liquor in Jharkhand : CSD Canteen Online Token
1. E-Token available / not applicable for these districts: Bokaro, Ranchi, Giridih, Dhanbad ,, Jamshedpur, Deoghar, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh.
2. Only one token can be issued in 1 day on a mobile number.
3. You can select any one-hour slot between 7 am and 7 am for any shop and purchase in your district to get the token.
4. Daily slots will be available for application a day in advance. An application can be made for that slot before the commencement of any slot.
5. The token will be issued based on availability in the selected slot.
6. If you are using mobile, always keep the location of the mobile on. You will see nearby shops based on location. If you are using a desk top, you will see shops based on the PIN code. If you want a list of PIN code based shops on your mobile, then open the desktop site on your mobile browser.
7. If you are applying using mobile, the token will be available on your mobile. Also it will be notified by SMS. If you are using a desk top computer, you can take a print out of the token. The link of the token will also be available on your mobile via SMS.
8. During the application for the token, you will have to enter the number of one of the valid identity cards (Voter ID, driving license, Aadhaar, PAN card) and must carry it along with the token.
9. The issuance of tokens for any store can be controlled by login of Admin or IC.
3. In the Next Page, please enter your Mobile No, Govt. ID Type, Govt. ID No., Full Name and District.
4. Then click the down arrow to select the shop. A list of Shops will be displayed
5. Then enter the Landmark Of Shop.
6. Then enter Booking Date and select Time Slot.
7. Lastly enter the Captcha as displayed in the column.
8. Now Finally click the Generate Token Button.
9. The Token will be displayed in the Next Page.
10. Submit it during the purchase of Liquor.
The following steps have been taken by the State Government to implement the Prohibition Policy in the State in accordance with the Directive Principles of Policy of the Indian Constitution:
(1) Under the prohibition policy by the State Government, every bottle of liquor in red letters. It is mandatory to mention "Alcoholism is harmful to health".
(2) The sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years of age is prohibited.
(3) Every year on 26th June, there is an action plan to celebrate "Prohibition Day" like other states like Bihar to bring awareness against drinking.
(4) There are restrictions on opening of liquor shops in gram panchayats in the scheduled area of Jharkhand state where the number of scheduled tribes is 50 percent or more. There is a ban on the endowment of Pachavai shops in the state and the license for retail sale has been abolished. But there is no restriction on the Scheduled Tribes to make and keep limited quantities of Pachavi for its consumption on social and festive occasions.
(5) Despite the limited means to completely prohibit the manufacture and sale of illicit liquor, intensive raids are carried out.
(6) The promotion and dissemination of alcohol in the state is prohibited.
(7) On 15 August, 26 January, 02 October, on the occasion of Ramnavami, Dussehra, Holi, Eid and Muharram, dry day has been declared in the state.
