How to register and login
idalink is Idaho’s online self-service portal where you create one account to manage Medicaid, food, cash and child care assistance. Register with your email and follow the prompts to apply or sign in.
You can apply for Idaho Medicaid online through idalink or Your Health Idaho, in person at a Health and Welfare office, by phone, or by mailing a paper application.

Plan
Idaho Medicaid covers children, families, pregnant women, older adults and people with disabilities, with a Medicaid Benefits Plan chosen for you after approval.
Behavioral health benefits are coordinated by Magellan of Idaho under the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan, reachable at 1-855-202-0973.
How to activate
After you apply, you may be asked to verify household details by mail, so respond quickly. Once approved you receive a written notice and a Medicaid ID card in the mail.
If you do not get your card within 14 days of your approval letter, call the benefits member line to activate a replacement.
Manage your benefits
Keep your contact information current in idalink so you do not miss recertification notices. When it is time to recertify, the department sends the forms you need.
Call the Self-Reliance customer service line at 1-877-456-1233 to update your name, address or income, and keep your permanent Medicaid ID card even if coverage lapses and restarts.
