With the climate catastrophe causing irrevocable changes to our lives as we know them, World Environment Day is also a good moment to consider new, practical solutions to problems like deforestation and plastic pollution.What will be the theme of World Environment Day in the year 2021?
This World Environment Day, according to the United Nations, the human population must vow to make small lifestyle changes that will assist restore the natural order of things. We must reinvent and rethink ways to assist Mother Earth heal, whether it is through a ban on single-use plastic or by infusing more green into our concrete jungles across the cities.

It all began in 1972. The United Nations General Assembly, or UNGA, declared World Environment Day in 1972. It has been celebrated every year since then, with fresh and pertinent themes for each year.
This year's World Environment Day celebrations will be held in Pakistan.
It's all about rebuilding the natural ecology this year. This year, the United Nations is asking each country to commit to ending the mindless habits that pollute our cities, beaches, and forests. If we can reclaim part of our lost glory, we will be able to save millions of people from the dreadful trap of hunger, displacement, and disease.
