How to Calculate SGPA in VTU : This is a common question asked by many students. The common acceptable answer to this question is:
CGPA = (%age/10) +0.75
%age=(CGPA-0.75)*10
• Main - 4 credits
• Final Year Project - 5 credits
• Elective - 3 credits
• Labs,Internship seminars, technical seminars - 2 credits
• 1 credit

If a student fails in any paper then he requires to pass that paper. Otherwise he will not be able to get the VTU Degree. For applying the backlog paper, one needs to fill the application form provided at the university website. He needs to pay the fee of INR 150/- per subject.
