I began my journey by booking a train from Bangalore 17th August 2019 the timing was 7:40 AM departure, we were 2 people me and my friend the cost of ticket 145 per head.
We reached Tirupati at 1 PM on exit of the platform we saw tirupati help center the center had all the basic facilities to bath and have food and freshen up we got answer to few of the questions. like the 300 Rs ticket( also known as VIP darshan) is always booked online you will never get it offline as the trust is discouraging the corruption agent and avoiding people of getting fooled by some miscreant.however they also provide free passes early on the morning the counter opens at 4 AM as always I did not get it.I am reluctant to wait for next day for the counter to open as I know how lucky I am ,I am attaching the pamphlet they gave me.
After asking the route and information of what to do next we came to know that the lord tirupathi temple is in Tirumala hill and you get bus from Railway station to reach there, APSRTC state bus. so we came out from the center and in the main Road we got the bus ,not much crowded we got to know the the tickets are issued for to and fro journey at once and its valid for 3 days we paid 200 Rs for 2 tickets and reached Tirumala hill. 1 hr journey approx.the area is like small bustling city well planned ,well deviated route and well maintained. you have every facilities, there you must carry your original ID proof to get rooms and the Que is very high , you should always do it online if you are not like me a sudden planner.
So after having some refreshment we set our journey for Darshan we had no booking nor any pass.. we began our non ending journey as it looked by then at 5 PM on 17th August.. there are several rounds of frisking done in que we reached the end of the Que and a main hall at 1:30 AM 18th August they gave us ladoo pass and took money for laddos giving us a barcode written on that our group number .the luggage that we carried was taken away from us since we did not have place to keep and gave us a luggage card and our mobile phones was also taken and attached to our luggage ..
We were assimilated with other people as per the barcode group number .each group had 100 people and each group were given a big space hall to take rest,I slept with there for 2 hours on the floor I was so tired it didn't matter to where I was ,the sleep was one the best sleep. 4 AM they woke us up and again the Que started and again couple of rounds of frisking and finally at 5:30 AM I was able to do the darshan. it was beautiful and worth pain taking experienc. I got to see the lord Tirupathi for just 20 sec to the most, after the Darshan you can break the que which I did and sat next to the temple space peacefully for good 30 min I qued once again to come out of the premises in 15 minutes I was out me and my friend we both took our luggage and did little shopping and then breakfast and straight to bus stop and then back to Bangalore. we came in bus to Bangalore the same APSRTC bus this time the ticket cost was 255 per head.. we reached Bangalore at 4 PM.. total time taken 34 hours total money spent was only Rs 1800 for 2 people ( includes everything shopping and other stuff as well till we reached our home) I had a budget of minimum 4000 in my mind.
