www.foododisha.in Ration Card Status 2020 Odisha : The objective of the issue of new ration card is to eliminate the duplicate ration cards and cover all eligible beneficiaries in the state of Odisha.
Ration card is an important multi-purpose document that entitles the resident of a state to obtain essential goods at highly subsidised rates through the Public Distribution System (PDS). In Odisha, ration cards are issued by the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Welfare. All residents of the state should hold the ration card as it enables the holder to procure all subsidies provided by the Odisha Government.
The Government of Odisha, under the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, provides for three basic types of Ration Cards for the effective implementation of the Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS).
Like every state, three types of ration cards are issued in Odisha, based on the economic status of the family and the number of family members.
Above Poverty Line families whose annual income above Rs.15000.
Below Poverty Line families whose annual income of less than Rs.10000.
Issued to the poorest sections of the society.
The eligibility criteria are based on the economic status of the beneficiary families. The applicant needs to satisfy the below criteria laid down by the Government of Odisha.
• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant must not possess another ration card.
In Odisha, when applying for a new ration card, it is necessary to submit the following documents along with the application form.
• Proof of Date of Birth.
• Address proof (electricity bill, water bill, telephone bill, passport, etc.)
• Family group passport size photograph
• Aadhaar Card
• Bank Passbook
• Caste Certificate
• Income Certificate
• For the government employees, the order for transfer form from the Head of the Office.
Ration Card will be provided within 30 days from the date of submission of application.
To apply for a new ration card in Odisha, the user has to follow the below-given steps:
The applicant must visit the Odisha Food, Supplies & Consumer Welfare department’s official website.
Click on the “e-Bitaran Odisha” on the home page of the portal.
Then the applicant will be redirected to the next page where click on the “Ration Card Application Form under NFSA-2013” link to download the form in the PDF format.
Fill all the required details in the application form and attach all the necessary documents along with the form.
Give the correct name of the applicant, the type of address proof submitted, the details of all the members of the family of the applicant along with their Voter ID card numbers, etc. to the officials at the RCMS.
Submit this completed application form in the nearest Ration Card office under the concerned Block/ULB in your area, and make the payment of the prescribed fee.
After the verification of all details, they will issue an application receipt that can be used to verify the status of the application.
To check the status of your ration card application details, follow the below-given steps:
Click at the “NFSA Cards & Beneficiaries” section in the header, on the homepage or directly click on this link.
Enter the district name, block name, FPS and then click on the “Get Report” button to open the Block Wise Ration Card List.
Directly enter the name in the “Find Box” at the top of the list to directly check Ration Card details by Name and to Check RC Status Online / Ration Card Status Enquiry.
The applicants can search family details by ration card number, name, father name, spouse name, type of family, number of family members and click at the “Ration Card Number” to open the details of family members in Food Odisha Ration Card List.
Here, the complete details of members in ration card can be checked, including the name, age, relation and other details.
The applicants can easily check their name, download/print the Ration Card to avail the benefits of subsidised food at nearby Rashan Shops.
