Founded by Andrew Sutherland in October 2005 and released to the public in January 2007, Quizlet's primary products include digital flash cards, matching games, practice electronic assessments, and live quizzes.
As of April 2021, Quizlet's website claims it has over 350 million user-generated flashcard sets, 3 billion total study sessions, and more than 50 million active users.

1. Go to the Quizlet Live page.
2. Enter the join code.
The person starting the game must share the code with you.
3. Select Join game.
4. Enter your name.
5. Select Let's go.
Once everyone has joined, the game leader can start the game!
If you're playing Quizlet Live with teams mode, you may want to sit with your team so you can work together.
You can search for keywords within your study sets to find the exact content you need.
To search your study sets by keyword
1. Log in to your account.
2. Select Your library at the top of the page.
3. Select Study sets.
4. Choose to search Recent sets you’ve viewed or sets you’ve Created.
5. Enter the term you're looking for in the Type to filter field.
All sets containing the term or phrase you’ve entered appear below the search field

To play Match
1. Log in to your account.
2. Open a set.
3. Select Match.
4. Select Start game.
5. Drag each term to its matching definition.
6. Match all the pairs to end the game and see your score!
Check your rank against others by going to a set page, selecting (More menu), and selecting Scores.
• Match shows six pairs per game, so if you're studying a larger set, you'll play several games to review all your material.
• Be careful—one second is added to your time for each incorrect match!
