https://www.upsc.gov.in : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the much-awaited recruitment notification for Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). The application process will also begin today. Interested candidates can apply at the official website – www.upsc.gov.in.
As per the official notification, the online application window will conclude on May 5. The UPSC CAPF’s Assistant Commandant recruitment exam will be held on August 8, 2021
UPSC CAPF Exam will be held 08 August 2021 (Sunday) at various centres across the country. The eligible candidates shall be issued UPSC CAPF Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination

Candidates who wish to appear for UPSC CAPF exam must be a citizen of India. Candidates who belong to Nepal and Bhutan are also allowed to apply for the exam. Candidates who have been selected as the Assistant Commandant in any of the forces are restricted to apply again in the exam.
The age limit of the candidates varies from general to reserved categories between 20 to 25 years.
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI.
Applicants who opt for "Pay by Cash" mode should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. "Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 04.05.2021 i.e. one day before the closing date; however applicants who have generated their Pay-in- Slip before it is deactivated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date.
Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reasons whatsoever, even if holding valid pay-in-slip will have no other offline option but to opt for available online Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 18:00 Hours of 05.05.2021.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized University.
UPSC CAPF Selection
The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The exam-takers are advised to use a black ballpoint pen to mark answers. There will be negative marking for the wrong answers. The medium of the exam is bilingual – English and Hindi.
