Your Varo Bank Visa® Debit Card is sent out automatically after your Varo Bank Account is approved. It will arrive within 6-9 business days. If you haven’t received your Varo Bank Debit Card within that time, just give us a call at 1-877-377-8276.
Our call center is open the following days and times:
- Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM Mountain Time.
- Saturday-Sunday 7 AM to 3 PM Mountain Time.
- Federal Holidays 7 AM to 3 PM Mountain Time, except we are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
How do I activate my Varo Bank Visa Debit Card?
You have three easy ways:
1. Open your Varo app, tap Activate your card, and set your PIN.
2. Go to https://bank.varomoney.com/login, log in to your account, and then tap Activate your card in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Call 1-877-377-8276 and follow the prompts to activate your card and set your PIN.
How do I find my routing number and account number?
From the home page of the app, select your checking or savings account, then tap Account Details in the upper right-hand corner.
Use your routing number and account number to send money to your Varo Bank Account or to set up automatic bill payments from your Account.
How does Varo’s digital debit card work?
Some customers will have access to Varo’s digital debit card while they wait for their physical debit card to arrive in the mail.
Physical debit card
We mail a physical debit card to the address you provided us. When you receive the card, use the Varo Bank app to set up your PIN and activate your card to start using it.
Digital debit card
While waiting for a physical card to arrive, some customers will have immediate access to a digital debit card, which you can use for online purchases, or add to your digital wallet.
If you’re eligible for a digital debit card, you’ll see a screen titled Early access to your card pop up in your app.
From there, you can tap Yes, I want early access to validate your card and start using it for online and digital wallet transactions, before you receive and activate your physical card. Access to your digital card information is subject to verification of your identity.
Until you click Yes, I want early access your card is not validated. To keep it that way, just click No, maybe later and no further action is required.
If you’re eligible for a digital debit card, you can always change your mind later and access your digital debit card at any time by tapping the My Varo tab in the Varo Bank App, and then tapping on Card Services.
