Activate in app
You can activate your card and manage your account with either the Barclaycard app or, if you’re already a Barclays customer, the Barclays app.

Activating your new card online
The fastest and most convenient way to activate your new card is through the Barclays app or on our website.
- Install and launch the Barclays US Credit Card app on your mobile device, or visit theย activation pageย of our website. (If you donโt have the Barclays App download it on Apple’sย App Storeย or onย Google Play.)
- If you already have an online accountย โ Choose โExisting Cardmemberโ and log in using your username and password. Verify your identity by completing the required fields. Your card will be activated and ready for use.
- If youโre a new Cardmember or donโt have online account access set up โย Select โActivate my card nowโ and complete the required fields.
- Select โContinueโ and your new card will immediately be activated and ready to use.

Change your ID number or username
In the ‘Your details’ area, clicking on ‘Secure login details’ will allow you to replace your current login ID with a more memorable username.
