Any five-letter word will do as an initial guess because there are no hints provided up front. That’s when the fun really begins in Wordle. The colour of each letter’s box changes when you send a guess. If the colour changes to green, you’ve correctly placed the letter in the daily word. In other words, if it turns yellow, you’ve got the letter in the word, but the wrong place. This indicates that the letter does not appear anywhere in the word. It’s amusing to see how often the same puzzle is being played by different people.
