JEE Main 2021 Date Latest News : JEE Main Result 2021 Feb session is likely to be released today on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for the exam are advised to keep a check. Important things to know about percentile, marks.
Candidates can check their JEE Main 2021 result by entering their application number, date of birth, and security pin on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The authority has made some major changes in JEE Mains this year, the Paper 1 will be held in four phases: February, March, April and May. Below are the JEE Main 2021 exam dates for all the sessions:
According to the new JEE Main 2021 exam pattern, candidates have to attempt 75 questions out of the 90 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech). JEE Main 2021 syllabus has not been reduced, and the questions in the exam will be from the entire syllabus.

4. Your JEE Main Result will be displayed on the screen
5. Download the result and take a print of the same for future reference
• The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will administrate the JEE Main Counselling and Seat Allotment.
• The counselling for supernumerary seats in the technical institutes of the North East region and Union Territories will be administrated by CSAB NEUT.
• Central Seat Allocation Board will administrate the counselling for 17 Self Financing Technical Institutes (SFTIs).
• A maximum of six rounds of counselling will be conducted.
• The qualified candidates will be called for the counselling rounds in order of rank obtained in the JEE Main 2020 Rank list.
• A total of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will participate in the counselling.
One important change from 2021 is that the JEE (Main) examination will be conducted in multiple Sessions (February/ March/ April/ May 2021) before admissions in the next academic session.
• This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year.
• In the first attempt, students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time.
• If any candidate misses the examination due to reasons beyond control, then he/she will not have to wait for one full year.
• Candidates are not required to compulsorily take the test in all the sessions though if a candidate appears in multiple Sessions, the best of the candidate’s NTA scores will be considered.
In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal marks, inter-merit of such candidates shall be decided in the order mentioned below:
Resolution of marks obtained in Mathematics:
• Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
Resolution of marks obtained in Physics:
• Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks:
• Candidate having the higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank. If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.
Resolution by marks obtained in Aptitude Test in Paper-II (B.Arch./B.Planning):
• Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
Resolution of marks obtained in Drawing Test in Paper-II (B.Arch./B.Planning):
• Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks:
• Candidate having the higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank. If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.
