To activate SyncMyRide.com, go to SyncMyRide.com website. Locate and click on the “Create Your SYNC Owner Account” button on the website.
To activate SyncMyRide.com, follow these steps:
1. Go to the SyncMyRide.com website: Open your web browser and navigate to the SyncMyRide.com website.
2. Click on “Create Your SYNC Owner Account”: Locate and click on the “Create Your SYNC Owner Account” button on the website.
3. Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): Type in your vehicle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the designated field.
4. Give your vehicle a name: Assign a name to your vehicle for easy identification in your account.
5. Click “Next”: After entering the VIN and naming your vehicle, click on the “Next” button to proceed.
6. Select your radio and steering wheel: Choose the appropriate options to identify the type of radio and steering wheel in your vehicle.
7. Fill in your profile information: Provide your login information and other personal details in the designated fields.
8. Click “Next”: Once you have completed filling in your profile information, click on the “Next” button to continue.
9. Enter your mobile phone number: Type in your mobile phone number and confirm it in the provided fields.
10. Click “Next”: After confirming your mobile phone number, click on the “Next” button to proceed.
11. Complete the activation process: Follow any additional instructions or prompts that may appear on the screen to complete the activation process.
Once you have completed these steps, your SyncMyRide.com account will be activated and you can start using its features.
How do I activate my SYNC Connected Navigation trial?
To set up your SYNC®* 4A or SYNC 4 Connected Navigation** trial, download the FordPass®† App and activate FordPass®†† Connect (modem). You will be automatically enrolled in the Connected Navigation trial once the modem is activated.
Note: Your vehicle must be equipped with SYNC 4A or SYNC 4. Refer to your Window Sticker or the SYNC Visual Reference Guide to see which generation of SYNC your vehicle is equipped with.
Starting Your Connected Navigation Trial
1. Download the FordPass App on the App Store® or Google Play™.
2. Log in to the FordPass App using your existing Ford Account username and password or create an account.
3. Press the + sign to add your FordPass Connect-equipped vehicle to the FordPass App.
4. Scan or type in your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
5. Select Activate Vehicle.
6. Go to your vehicle and start the engine.
7. Follow the prompts on your vehicle’s SYNC screen to activate the modem.
Note: The Connected Navigation trial starts on the vehicle’s warranty start date (not the date the modem is activated).
