- Indicate whether you were available for work.

- How to Submit Your Report:

- Internet Reporting Service: Simple, fast, and secure. Submit your report online.
- Telephone Reporting Service: Call 1-800-531-7555 if you don’t have internet access.
- Paper Reports: Mistakes can happen, so modify your report before submitting it online or by phone.
- When to Submit Your Next Report:

How do I get my access code for EI reporting?
If you applied for or are receiving Employment Insurance (EI), your EI Access Code was sent to you by mail shortly after you applied. This code is a 4-digit number printed in the shaded area at the top of your benefit statement. You’ll need this access code to submit your required bi-weekly reports. If you cannot find your EI Access Code, you have a couple of options:
- Check Your Benefit Statement: Look for the access code in the shaded area at the top of your benefit statement. It’s mailed to you after you apply for benefits.
- Call Service Canada: Dial 1-800-206-7218 to speak with Service Canada. Provide your social insurance number (SIN), and they can assist you with your access code.
You’ll need to use your EI Access Code every 2 weeks when submitting your Employment Insurance (EI) reports. These reports help demonstrate your eligibility and ensure you continue receiving benefits.
Social Insurance Number (SIN)
You must provide a valid nine-digit Social Insurance Number. Please enter all nine digits as they appear on your Social Insurance Number card, with no spaces or hyphens.
Access Code
The Access Code is the four-digit code that was sent to you by mail shortly after you applied for Employment Insurance benefits. Your Access Code is your electronic signature and is required, along with your Social Insurance Number (SIN), when you submit your reports or make enquiries about your claim.
The Access Code identifies you and ensures that your privacy is protected. Do not share your Access Code with others and store it in a safe place separate from your SIN. If you did not receive your Access Code, please call 1-800-531-7555 Monday to Friday, during business hours to speak to a representative.
