If you&#8217;re using more than one receiver, please connect each one to a TV before activating. If you use a Spectrum modem, the following items are included in your self-installation kit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modem<\/li>\n<li>Coaxial cable<\/li>\n<li>Ethernet cable<\/li>\n<li>Power cord<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"ng-tns-c113-9 panel-header expanded\">\n<h3 class=\"ng-tns-c115-10 panel-header-container standard increased-padded-panel-header-container expanded\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Step 1: Connect Modem<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"cdk-accordion-child-2\" class=\"panel-content ng-tns-c113-9 ng-trigger ng-trigger-panelToggle\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n<div class=\"ng-tns-c113-9\">\n<div class=\"ng-tns-c113-9 panel-content desktop\">\n<ol type=\"A\">\n<li>Connect one end of the coax cable to a cable wall outlet, and then connect the other end to the modem.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the power cord to the modem, and then plug the other end into an electrical outlet.\n<ul>\n<li><em>Note: If you\u2019re replacing an existing modem, unplug the old modem from the electrical outlet, and then simply move the coax cable from the old modem to the new modem. Then, connect the new modem to the electrical outlet.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Wait for the\u00a0<strong>Online<\/strong>\u00a0status light on the front of the modem to turn from flashing to solid. This usually takes about two to five minutes, but may take up to 20 minutes if your modem needs a firmware update.
