How to Activate Your Xfinity Self-Install Kit Devices using an App<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If you\u2019re activating Xfinity xFi Pods or an Xfinity xFi Gateway (with the exception of the xFi Fiber Gateway, Arris X5001), you can use the Xfinity xFi app for easy activation. After setup, you can use the app for management of your home network. To determine the type of Gateway you have, check the make and model information located on the bottom of your device. You can also sign in to My Account and select Devices.<\/p>\n

    1. Download the Xfinity xFi app for free from Google Play or the App Store.<\/li>\n

                                • For some TV Box types, X1 service will activate quickly; however, other TV Box types may take up to 10 minutes. The following messages will be displayed to inform you that the activation process is ongoing.<\/li>\n
                                • Downloading your Main Menu. Once activation is complete, press the Xfinity button on your remote to find your Guide, DVR, On Demand and more<\/li>\n
                                • Your X1 experience is almost ready. While it\u2019s loading, download the Xfinity Stream app to your mobile device or go to xfinity.com\/stream<\/strong> to watch your entertainment from any device.<\/li>\n
