EPFO \u200b\u200bis soon going to launch its new and advanced service EPFO \u200b\u200b3.0.<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"1:1-1:165\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As of May 31, 2025, the ability to withdraw PF money directly from an ATM is not yet fully implemented but is expected to be launched very soon under &#8220;EPFO 3.0.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:221\"><span class=\"citation-26 citation-end-26\">Several reports indicate that the Employees&#8217; Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is planning to roll out &#8220;EPFO 3.0&#8221; in June 2025, which will allow subscribers to withdraw PF funds instantly via UPI and ATMs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:79\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what the upcoming system is expected to involve for ATM withdrawals:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"7:1-12:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:133\"><strong>EPFO Card:<\/strong> <span class=\"citation-8 citation-end-8\">It&#8217;s anticipated that EPFO will issue a special &#8220;EPFO card&#8221; that will function like a regular ATM card.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"8:1-8:71\"><strong>ATM Access:<\/strong> You&#8217;ll be able to use this card at EPFO-enabled ATMs.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:304\"><strong>UAN and OTP Verification:<\/strong> The process will likely involve linking your Universal Account Number (UAN) to your bank account, entering your UAN and the desired withdrawal amount at the ATM, and then verifying your identity through an OTP (One-Time Password) received on your registered mobile number.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-10:106\"><strong>Instant Cash:<\/strong> <span class=\"citation-7 citation-end-7\">Upon successful verification, the ATM will dispense the requested amount.<\/span>\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-12:0\"><strong>Withdrawal Limits:<\/strong> There are likely to be capping on withdrawals, possibly allowing withdrawals of up to 50% of the total deposits, or up to Rs 1 lakh instantly.
