The new cao is expected to come into effect on January 1, 2025.<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<h2 data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:33\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Here are some key points to know:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u2022 The parties involved:<\/strong> The negotiations are between the trade unions CNV, FNV, and BK, and the employers&#8217; organizations BMK and BVOK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Key demands:<\/strong> The unions are demanding a significant salary increase, a shorter working week, and more paid leave. The effect of this is that lower salary scales increase more than higher scales.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 As of January 1, 2024, salaries will increase by 3%.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The year-end bonus paid in December of each calendar year will be increased by 2.0% from 1 January 2024.<\/p>\n<h3>As of January 1, 2024, the salary structure will be adjusted as follows:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 The first step will be eliminated per salary scale, with the exception of scale 1. The entry salary level will therefore increase, making it more attractive to work in the sector.<br \/>\n\u2022 Two steps will be added at the end of the salary scale per salary scale.
