Open a web browser<\/strong> on a device connected to your Xfinity network.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the address bar, type <strong><code>10.0.0.1<\/code><\/strong> and press Enter. This will take you to the Xfinity gateway&#8217;s admin page.<\/p>\n<p>3. On the login page, enter the following default credentials:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"6:4-7:29\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"6:4-6:26\"><strong>Username:<\/strong> <code>admin<\/code><\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"7:4-7:29\"><strong>Password:<\/strong> <code>password<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. Click the &#8220;Login&#8221; or &#8220;Sign In&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>The default credentials are case-sensitive, so ensure you type them exactly as shown. If you&#8217;ve previously changed the username or password, you&#8217;ll need to use those instead.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t remember your changed credentials, you may need to reset your gateway to factory defaults, which will erase all custom settings. If you\u2019ve already changed your Admin Tool ID and password, log in with your information. However, the steps are the same, so you can still follow along.<\/p>\n<p>3. Once you log in, the page asks you to set up a new ID and password for the Admin Tool. You\u2019ll do this first and change your network name and password after.<\/p>\n<p>4.
