One Or More Items in the Folder You Synchronized Do Not Match Outlook Error Fix<\/span><\/h1>\n

The error message \u201cOne or more items in the folder you synchronized do not match\u201d typically occurs in\u00a0Outlook\u00a0when there\u2019s a local conflict with a calendar item. To resolve this, try the following steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. Clear Offline Items<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n
      \n
    • Open the Calendar pane in Outlook.<\/li>\n
    • Right-click the Calendar folder and select\u00a0Properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • On the General tab, choose\u00a0Clear Offline Items<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Click\u00a0OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Outlook will re-sync the calendar, updating it with server items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      2. Alternatively, make meeting updates in Outlook Web Access (OWA)<\/strong>\u00a0or use\u00a0New Outlook<\/strong>. The conflict doesn\u2019t occur in these interfaces.<\/h3>\n

      Outlook shows conflict errors when updating or cancelling meetings<\/span><\/h2>\n

      ISSUE<\/b><\/h3>\n

      When you update or cancel a meeting item in Outlook Desktop you see a conflict error.<\/p>\n

      \u201cOne or more items in the folder you synchronized do not match. To resolve the conflicts, open the items, and then try this operation again.\u201d<\/p>\n\"Outlook<\/picture>\n

      This issue happens when there is a local conflict of the calendar item in Outlook Desktop. The server copy of the calendar item does not have a conflict.<\/p>\n

      If you are prompted with the Conflict Message dialog close it out. Using this dialog may not fully address the issue.<\/p>\n\"Outlook<\/picture>\n

      STATUS: WORKAROUND<\/b><\/h3>\n

      The Outlook Team is investigating this issue. In the meantime, please use the following workarounds:<\/p>\n

      Workaround 1:<\/b><\/p>\n

      To mitigate the issue, you can use the Clear Offline Items for your calendar. This step clears the calendar items in the Outlook store (OST) on your local machine.<\/p>\n

      To clear offline Calendar items, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Open the\u00a0Calendar\u00a0<\/b>pane in Outlook, and right-click the\u00a0Calendar\u00a0<\/b>folder.<\/li>\n
      2. Select\u00a0Properties<\/b>.<\/li>\n
      3. On the\u00a0General\u00a0<\/b>tab, select\u00a0Clear Offline Items<\/b>.<\/li>\n
      4. Select\u00a0OK<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        After you clear offline items, Outlook will re-sync the calendar and repopulate your calendar folder with the calendar items on the server.<\/p>\n

        Workaround 2:\u202f<\/b><\/p>\n

        Make the meeting updates in Outlook Web Access (OWA) or use New Outlook. The conflict does not occur when updating or cancelling the meeting in OWA or New Outlook.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
