To create an account, follow these steps.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 You may find the DEO online at http:\/\/www.floridajobs.org.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Call the Employer Assistance line and ask to have new CONNECT login credentials set up. Account setup must be done by an authorised representative of the company, per their request.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Call 1-877-846-8770 to reach the Employer Support Unit.<\/p>\n

\u2022 To access “other assistance,” press 5.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Please input the reemployment tax number if you happen to have it.<\/p>\n

\u2022 An email with the User ID will be sent to you once they ask for your name and email (the corporate contact is necessary).<\/p>\n

\u2022 In order to complete the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email. Now that the CONNECT account is activated, you can set a password for it.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Follow the link (it will only be active for 96 hours)<\/p>\n

\u2022 After entering the User ID, you will be able to set up the password and answer the security questions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Note down the details.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum requirements for a strong password include the following: a mix of upper and lowercase letters, digits, and symbols.<\/p>\n

How to Access Your Reemployment Assistance Account<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Visit FloridaJobs.org and select \u201cClaimants\u201d in the top right corner of the homepage, or click here to access your Reemployment Assistance account.<\/p>\n

2. Next, you will be directed to the multi-factor authentication log-in process.<\/p>\n

A. To create a new Reemployment Assistance log-in to access your account, select \u201cSign up now.\u201d<\/p>\n

B. If you have already created your multi-factor authentication log-in, please enter the email address and password you used when you created your account, and select \u201cSign in.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. After selecting \u201cSign up now,\u201d you will be required to provide your email address. Please enter a valid email address then select \u201cSend Verification Code.\u201d Please note, each Reemployment Assistance account holder must have their own email address. If you do not have an email address or if you share an email account with another Reemployment Assistance claimant, you must create a new email address or provide a different email address before proceeding.<\/p>\n

There are multiple online email options available at no-cost. After you have completed the multi-factor authentication process, the email address you provide here will automatically be updated in your Reemployment Assistance account.<\/p>\n

4. Next, check your email account for a notification containing your verification code. The email will come from Alerts@noreply.DEO.MyFlorida.com. If you do not receive a verification code, verify that the email address you provided is correct. We also encourage you to check your spam and junk folders for the email containing your verification code.<\/p>\n

5. After receiving your verification code, go back to the account log-in screen to enter the verification code and select \u201cVerify code.\u201d If you did not receive a verification code by email, select \u201cSend New Code\u201d to continue with the verification process.<\/p>\n

6. After your email address is verified, please enter the additional required information and select \u201cCreate.\u201d It is important you remember your email address and password used for your account. If you need to change the email address you verified, then select \u201cChange email\u201d to enter a new email address. Please note, if you change your email address, you will need to repeat the steps above to re-verify your account.<\/p>\n

7. Next, select your preferred notification(s) for the multi-factor authentication process. You may choose more than one. Please note that, at this time, you will not be able to change the option(s) you select<\/p>\n

A. Select \u201cAuthenticator App\u201d to use an authenticator app to scan a QR code. Click \u201cContinue.\u201d<\/p>\n

B. Select \u201cText Message or Phone Call\u201d to receive a text message or phone call. Click \u201cContinue.\u201d<\/p>\n

C. Select both \u201cAuthenticator App\u201d and \u201cText Message or Phone Call\u201d if you would prefer to verify through both an authenticator app and also receive a text message or phone call. Click \u201cContinue.\u201d Please follow both sections of instructions below for this option.<\/p>\n

Steps to use the Authenticator App: <\/span><\/h2>\n

If you select \u201cAuthenticator App,\u201d you will be provided with a QR code. You may download an authenticator app or open an existing authenticator app on your phone. Once you have installed the authenticator app, you must open the app and scan the QR code provided. The authenticator app will issue a verification code.
