How Do I Activate Voice to Text on Samsung<\/span><\/h1>\n

Voice-to-text and TTS are enabled on most Android phones. In Samsung, Turn on\/off Android voice-to-text if it’s not activated.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Samsung keyboard is the default keyboard used for typing on your Galaxy phone. Here are some useful features if you’re using the Samsung keyboard. You can easily undo and redo with just two fingers, and you can use the translation function, voice recognition function, and Samsung Pass easily through the keyboard.<\/p>\n

Launch Settings.<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Start by opening Android Settings.<\/li>\n
  • Find this app in your app drawer or by hitting the gear button on your home screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Select \u201cLanguage & input\u201d.<\/h3>\n

    In the Settings app, scroll down to \u201cSystem\u201d and touch \u201cLanguage & input.\u201d (or Settings > General Management > Language and input on earlier devices)<\/p>\n

    Enable \u201cGoogle Voice Typing\u201d<\/h3>\n

    • From the \u201cLanguage & input\u201d menu, select \u201cKeyboard & Input Methods\u201d and press \u201cVirtual keyboard.\u201d<\/li>\n
    • Enable \u201cGoogle voice typing\u201d by tapping it. Skip to step 4 if this option is enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Pick a voice input language<\/h3>\n

      • After enabling Google’s text Voice Typing, you can choose a voice recognition language.<\/li>\n
      • To use Voice > Offline voice recognition without wi-fi, download your language.<\/li>\n
      • Tap \u201cLanguages,\u201d then choose your language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Enable voice recognition<\/h3>\n

        • After enabling Google Voice Typing and choosing a language, activate speech recognition.<\/li>\n
        • Visit any text-entry program like Messages or Notes.<\/li>\n
        • Tap the microphone icon after tapping the text box to activate voice recognition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device’s software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device’s software, follow these steps:<\/p>\n
