Why is Netflix Not Working on My Roku TV<\/span><\/h1>\n

To fix Netflix not working on my Roku streaming device, create a new Roku account. Then factory reset the Roku and sign in with the new account. We also suggest doing the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to\u00a0Settings\u00a0>\u00a0System\u00a0>\u00a0System restart\u00a0>\u00a0Restart.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Remove\/reinstall procedure:<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Highlight channel on home screen.<\/p>\n

2. Press * key and choose Remove channel option.<\/p>\n

[Note: If this is a premium channel to which you subscribed\u00a0through Roku<\/u>, “Remove channel” will be replaced by “Manage subscriptions”. Click this and follow the prompts to unsubscribe from this channel. (Don’t worry. You’ll still have use of it for the balance of your pre-paid subscription period. You can resubscribe then if you like.) Now the \u201dRemove channel” menu item will be back and you can remove the channel.<\/i>\u00a0]<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT- DON’T SKIP:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Restart the Roku to clear its memory. Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you’ll find “System restart” under Roku menu path Settings > System > Power<\/em>\u00a0or under\u00a0Settings > System<\/em>‘. Without the restart to clear the memory you may not get a clean reinstall.<\/p>\n

3. Reinstall the channel. Note it will be added to the END of the channel grid.<\/p>\n

4. If channel requires a login, you may need to log in anew.<\/p>\n
