How To Activate SBI FASTag<\/span><\/h1>\n

In order to activate your SBI FASTag, you must submit the application form together with the mandatory KYC and vehicle documentation at https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi. Your FASTag will be activated instantly once the documents have been verified.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

To activate your SBI FASTag, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. Visit a certified bank branch<\/strong>: Go to an SBI branch to purchase and activate your FASTag.<\/p>\n

2. Provide necessary documents<\/strong>: Bring along your vehicle\u2019s Registration Certificate (RC) and ID\/address proof.<\/p>\n

3. Complete the KYC process<\/strong>: Submit the application form along with your KYC documents to the Point of Sale (PoS) location. Once your documents are verified, your SBI FASTag account will be activated.<\/p>\n

4. Link your bank account<\/strong>: Ensure you link your FASTag to your bank account for automatic toll deductions<\/p>\n

Since the SBI FASTag is a prepaid instrument, KYC documentation would be required as per the KYC policy of the Bank. Apart from the KYC documentation, the Customer needs to submit copy of Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle along with the application for SBI FASTag.<\/p>\n

The physical tag has a validity of 5 years and after purchasing, Customer only need to recharge\/ top up the tag as per his\/her usage.<\/p>\n

How to login to SBI FASTag Portal?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Please visit\u00a0https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi\/\u00a0<\/a><\/b>. Your registered Mobile number for SBI FASTag is the default login ID and default password will be sent through SMS on your registered mobile number. If you do not receive the default password by SMS, please click on forgot password link available on the login page, to get your password on your registered mobile number with SBI FASTag.<\/p>\n

Customer can check their tag balance, download statements, recharge their tags through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and UPI, lodge complaint and surrender his\/her tag through portal.<\/p>\n

How do I update my KYC?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

a) PPIs up to Rs. 10,000 with loading from Bank Account:- Customer can update their account by login to the SBI FASTag Portal\u00a0https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi\u00a0<\/b>and under “Regulatory guidelines”. Customer can do only online recharge. Cash recharge is disabled in this type.<\/p>\n

b) Customer can contact any nearest PoS\/ Agents. Details of PoS \/Agents are available at Customer Web Portal: \u00a0https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi\/\/\u00a0<\/b>.<\/p>\n

c) Customer can lodge his\/her issue at\u00a0https:\/\/crcf.sbi.co.in\/ccf<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>This link is also available at SBI FASTag web portal https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi\/<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

How to recharge a FASTag?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

FASTag recharge can be done both by paying cash or online.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

SBI FASTag can be recharged by visiting SBI FASTag web portal\u00a0https:\/\/fastag.bank.sbi\/<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

On submitting user credentials, a wallet associated with SBI FASTag can be recharged via net banking, debit \/ credit card and UPI.<\/p>\n

SBI FASTag can also be recharged via UPI on\u00a0“My FASTag App”<\/b>\u00a0developed by IHMCL.<\/p>\n
