You can do this by calling the number on the back of your card: 1-888-356-3281.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"1:1-1:58\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">To activate your new Florida EBT Card, follow these steps:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>1. <span style=\"color: #808000;\">Call the EBT Customer Service number:<\/span><\/strong> Dial 1-888-356-3281.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. <span style=\"color: #808000;\">Follow the prompts:<\/span><\/strong> The automated system will guide you through the activation process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. <span style=\"color: #808000;\">Select a PIN:<\/span><\/strong> You&#8217;ll be asked to choose a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). Make sure to choose a number that&#8217;s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. <span style=\"color: #808000;\">Confirm your PIN:<\/span><\/strong> You&#8217;ll be asked to enter your PIN again to confirm.<\/p>\n<p>The card will be mailed in a plain, white envelope with a return address of Sioux Falls, SD. This card will be automatically reloaded with your benefit amount every month.<\/p>\n<p>Your EBT card will no longer have an expiration date. If there is an expiration date on your card, the card will expire on the last day of the month\/year that is shown. If there is no expiration date on the front of your EBT card, your EBT Card will only need replacement if lost, stolen, or damaged.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"coh-lazy-loaded aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myflfamilies.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/large\/public\/2022-10\/ebt-old.jpg?itok=sW6Nbh9t\" alt=\"Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Card\" width=\"243\" height=\"153\" data-was-processed=\"true\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">EBT Card Issuance<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>First time benefit recipients will be mailed an EBT card with instructions on use.<\/li>\n<li>If you received benefits in the past 25 months and still have your EBT card, you can still use that card.<\/li>\n<li>If you are reapplying for benefits and no longer have your EBT card or your card has expired, please contact EBT customer service at 1-888-356-3281 for a replacement. \u00a0You may call EBT Customer Service at any time. \u00a0Another EBT card is not automatically mailed to you when your case is approved.<\/li>\n<li>Your EBT Card will arrive in 5 \u2013 7 business days<\/li>\n<li>If your card has been cancelled or has expired it cannot be used and will need to be replaced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Using your Card<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You can use your EBT card at locations that display the QUEST logo\u00a0\u00a0and supported remarks such as \u201cEBT Accepted Here\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Sales tax cannot be charged on items bought with SNAP benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Cash benefits can be withdrawn at ATM\u2019s displaying the Quest Logo<\/li>\n<li>Cash Benefits can be withdrawn with no ATM fees at the below locations:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Bank of America<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Chase<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Citibank<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Bank of West<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Capital One<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Flagstar Bank<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Presto<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0S Bank<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Wells Fargo<\/li>\n<li>Items can be purchased with cash and cash back with a purchase is allowed where available.<\/li>\n<li>Cash benefits cannot be used outside of the State of Florida for more than 30 days<\/li>\n<li>Food Assistance can be used in all 50 states<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Checking Your Balance<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The best way to know your balance(s) is to refer to your last receipt. You may also obtain your balance by logging on to the\u00a0<a title=\"opens into a new browser window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ebtedge.com\/gov\/portal\/CardholderLogon.do?stCode=FL&amp;first=true&amp;url=FL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EBT Cardholder Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Or by calling the EBT Customer Service number (1-888-356-3281) on the back of your card.
