How To Activate BOI ATM Card<\/span><\/h1>\n

To Activate BOI ATM Card, insert the card in the BOI ATM machine and remove. Select \u201c(Forgot \/ Create PIN) Green PIN\u201d option on the screen. Please select \u201cGenerate OTP\u201d option on the screen and 6 digit OTP will be sent to Customer\u2019s registered mobile number.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cGreen PIN\u201d is instant PIN generation \/ regeneration functionality available for Debit Card through ATM with One Time Password (OTP) sent to the customer\u2019s mobile number registered with bank. Using the OTP, customer can set debit card PIN through Bank of India ATMs.<\/p>\n

How can I activate my BOI ATM card?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Visit any of the nearest ATMs and insert your debit card into the ATM<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Enter the four-digit PIN that you have received in your welcome kit along with your debit card<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Enter the debit card number and the ATM PIN<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> You will be asked to create a new PIN for your future transactions.<\/p>\n

PROCESS FOR GENERATING GREEN PIN (DEBIT CARD PIN) USING ANY BANK OF INDIA ATM<\/span><\/h2>\n

Green PIN can be generated in following cases,<\/p>\n

  • When a new debit-card is issued to the customer by Branch.<\/li>\n
  • When the customer forgets PIN and wants to regenerate PIN for his\/her existing card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Step 1<\/b>\u00a0– Insert Debit Card at any Bank of India ATM and remove.<\/p>\n

    Step 2<\/b>\u00a0– Please select language.<\/p>\n

    Step 3<\/b>\u00a0– The following Two options will be displayed on the screen.
    \n\u201cEnter PIN\u201d
    \n\u201c(Forgot \/ Create PIN) Green PIN\u201d
    \nSelect \u201c(Forgot \/ Create PIN) Green PIN\u201d option on the screen.<\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/b>\u00a0– The following Two options will be displayed on the screen.
    \n“Generate OTP\u201d
    \n\u201cValidate OTP\u201d
    \nPlease select \u201cGenerate OTP\u201d option on the screen and 6 digit OTP will be sent to Customer\u2019s registered mobile number. Once OTP received,<\/p>\n

    Step 5<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Reinsert Debit card and remove.<\/p>\n

    Step 6<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Please select language<\/p>\n

    Step 7<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 The following Two options will be displayed on the screen.

    \n\u201c(Forgot \/ Create PIN) Green PIN\u201d
    \nSelect \u201c(Forgot \/ Create PIN) Green PIN\u201d option on the screen.<\/p>\n

    Step 8<\/b>\u00a0\u2013The following Two options will be displayed on the screen.
    \n\u201cGenerate OTP\u201d
    \n\u201cValidate OTP\u201d
    \nPlease select \u201cValidate OTP\u201d option on the screen. Enter 6 digit OTP on the \u201cEnter Your OTP Value\u201d Screen and press continue.<\/p>\n

    Step 9<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Next screen – \u201cPlease enter new PIN\u201d<\/p>\n

    • Please enter any 4 digits of your choice to create new PIN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Step 10<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Next screen \u2013 \u201cPlease re-enter new PIN\u201d
      \nPlease re-enter the new 4 digits PIN.
      \nNext screen- \u201cThe PIN is Changed \/ Created successfully.\u201d<\/p>\n

      Please Note:<\/span><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • To set\/re-set the Debit Card PIN at Bank of India ATM, customer\u2019s mobile number must be registered with the Bank.<\/li>\n
      • \u201cGreen PIN\u201d cannot be generated for hot listed debit cards.<\/li>\n
      • \u201cGreen PIN\u201d shall be supported for Active, Inactive cards and cards temporarily blocked due to 3 incorrect PIN tries. The Inactive \/ Temporarily blocked cards shall be activated after successful PIN generation.<\/li>\n
