How To Activate Microsoft 365 on Mac<\/span><\/h1>\n

To set up your account and install Microsoft 365 for the first time, visit\u00a0setup.office.com<\/a>. If you have already created your account, visit\u00a0account.microsoft.com<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

If your purchase of Office or Microsoft 365 came with a product key, you enter your product key on one of the websites listed below for your product. After you enter your key, you can download and install Office, or you can renew your Microsoft 365 subscription<\/p>\n

Microsoft 365 Basic subscription is for one person and it does work with Mac OS, but please note that it doesn’t include Office 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote etc) desktop client application.<\/p>\n

Microsoft 365 Basic subscription only include Microsoft 365 apps for web(online) like (Word for web, Excel for web, PowerPoint for web, and OneNote for web).<\/p>\n

To use Office 365 desktop client apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote etc) on your Mac OS, you may use Office 365 personal\/Family subscription. Or Office 2021 (one-time purchase)<\/strong> is a perpetual license. it Offers standalone desktop versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on Mac OS.<\/p>\n

To redeem a new purchase<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/b>: Go to\u00a0www.office.com\/setup<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Microsoft365.com\/setup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/b>: Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create one if you don’t have one. Be sure to remember this account so that you can install or reinstall Office later, without a product key.<\/p>\n

Important:\u00a0<\/b>If you’re renewing your Microsoft 365 subscription, enter the Microsoft account that’s associated with your subscription. =<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Step 3<\/b>: Enter your product key, without hyphens, if prompted. If you don’t see the option to enter your product key, it was entered for you automatically.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/b>: Follow the prompts to finish the redemption process.<\/p>\n

To install or reinstall Office<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

If you see the error\u00a0This product key has already been used<\/b>\u00a0when you enter your product key on\u00a0www.office.com\/setup<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Microsoft365.com\/setup<\/a>, this means your product key has already been redeemed and is no longer needed.<\/p>\n

Instead, use your Microsoft account to sign in to\u00a0account.microsoft.com<\/a>\u00a0and install your Office product.<\/p>\n
