How to PIN and Activate your TSB Debit Mastercard<\/span><\/h1>\n

To activate your card in online banking or your TSB app go to Services and select Card Manager. Then follow the prompts to add a PIN and activate your card.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

How to PIN & activate your card<\/span><\/h2>\n

Have a read through these simple steps to learn how to pin & activate your card any time of day, any day of the week.<\/p>\n

To activate your card in online banking or your TSB app go to Services and select Card Manager. Then follow the prompts to add a PIN and activate your card.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have online banking, you can register for online banking\u00a0here<\/a>. Or, if you’d like some help, call us on\u00a00800 872 226<\/a>\u00a0between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday or between 9am and 5pm on Saturday or Sunday. If you’re overseas call us on\u00a0+64 6 968 3700<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1) Select Card Manager to view all your cards<\/p>\n

2) Click on the card that needs to be activated<\/p>\n

3) Enter your card number on the right-hand side and click next<\/p>\n

4) Enter a 4-digit PIN number into the pad below and press enter<\/p>\n

5) To ensure you remember your 4-digit PIN, the pad will appear again<\/p>\n

6) Re-enter your PIN into the pad<\/p>\n

7) Click continue<\/p>\n

8) Success! Your PIN has been added and your card is now active. You’re good to go.<\/p>\n

9) To pin and activate other cards, return to Card Manager under Services<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How to block & unblock your card<\/span><\/h2>\n
\n

What is a temporary block?<\/h3>\n

A temporary block will stop any transactions from taking place on your card, either in-person or online, until the temporary block is removed. You can unblock your card again using Card Manager.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Recurring payments or subscriptions you’ve set up on the card may not be made.<\/li>\n
  2. If someone else has a different card linked to one of your accounts, they will still be able to make the transactions using their card.<\/li>\n
  3. Even if your card has been temporarily blocked, you’ll be responsible for any authorised transactions. These could include any recurring payments or subscriptions we’re required to process.<\/li>\n
  4. You’ll still be charged fees and interest on your card account while your card is temporarily blocked.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How to Block your card<\/span><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Go to Services on the left menu<\/li>\n
    2. Click\u00a0Card Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Select the card that needs to be blocked<\/li>\n
    4. Click\u00a0Block card<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Click\u00a0Block Card<\/strong> on the right hand side<\/li>\n
    6. Your card has now been temporarily blocked from making transactions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How to Unblock your card<\/span><\/h2>\n

      1) Go to Services on the left menu<\/p>\n

      2) Click Card Manager<\/p>\n

      3) Select the card that needs to be unblocked<\/p>\n

      4) Click Unblock card<\/p>\n

      5) Select the Unblock card button at the bottom to confirm<\/p>\n

      6) Your card has been successfully unblocked and will be available to use immediately<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      How to cancel a card<\/span><\/h2>\n
      \n

      Whether your card is lost or has been stolen, have a read through these simple steps to learn how to cancel or replace your card.\u00a0Note: if you have an overseas address, your card can only be cancelled through online banking. Please call us to request a replacement card<\/p>\n

      1) Go to Services on the left menu<\/p>\n

      2) Click Card Manager<\/p>\n

      3) Select the card that needs to be cancelled\/replaced<\/p>\n

      4) Click Lost, stolen or damaged card<\/p>\n

      5) Select either “I lost my card” or “My card was stolen”<\/p>\n

      6) Click next<\/p>\n

      7) Select either “Yes, I need a replacement card” or “No, I don’t need a replacement card”<\/p>\n

      8) Click next<\/p>\n
