To activate your new Florida Blue Medicare Nations OTC Card, login into loridabluemedicare.nationsbenefits.com<\/a> or call 877-270-4569<\/u> (TTY: 711)<\/u> and enter the 16 digit card number and expiration date of your Benefits Mastercard\u00ae Prepaid Card.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Medicare is health insurance sponsored by the federal government for people 65 and older, or those under 65 who may qualify, if they have certain disabilities or conditions.<\/p>\n

Created in 1965, Medicare started with just two parts, Parts A and B, also referred to as\u00a0Original Medicare<\/a>. Later on,\u00a0Medicare Advantage plans<\/a>\u00a0(also called Part C) and\u00a0Part D prescription drug<\/a>\u00a0coverage were\u00a0added as people\u2019s needs changed. Unlike Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans are private health insurance plans sold by companies like Florida Blue.<\/p>\n

To place an order through the MyBenefits App, scan the QR code using your smartphone or search \u201cMyBenefits\u201d<\/strong> in the App Store or Google Play.<\/p>\n

If this is your first time placing an order online, you will need to create an account by registering on the MyBenefits<\/strong> portal or the MyBenefits<\/strong> app. If you already created an account, simply log in and select the items you would like to order. Medicare Supplement plans are private insurance plans. Most people who choose a Medicare Supplement policy also choose a Medicare Part D plan, too.<\/p>\n

Once you receive and activate your card, you can start using it online through the MyBenefits portal and the MyBenefits app and\/or in person at a participating retail location near you. When at a retail location, simply swipe your card for payment.<\/p>\n
