You only need to register once to get instant access to all the best features of Blue Connect at blueconnectnc.com<\/a>. With Blue Connect, you can see your deductibles and claims, pay a bill, check your coverage, learn about wellness programs and more.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Your Blue Connect\u2120 member portal gives you access to everything you need to manage your health, vision or dental plan all in one place.<\/p>\n

Setting up your account<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Before you start, have your subscriber or member ID card ready. You’ll need it and your Member Code from your member ID card.<\/p>\n

2. No member ID card? No problem. Register for Blue Connect using your phone. Choose phone call or text message to get your authorization code. (Codes expire after 10 minutes.)<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> You must have an active Blue Cross NC plan to get the authorization code. If you just purchased your plan, it could take up to 48 hours to verify your enrollment.<\/p>\n

3. Be sure to enroll in paperless delivery in the Contact Preferences Center to get all your important health alerts and documents sent straight to your email inbox or phone.<\/p>\n

HOW TO REGISTER FOR Blue Connect<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Navigate to BlueConnectNC.com. Click Register Now.<\/p>\n

Note: You can still register even if you don\u2019t have your member ID card. Just keep reading.<\/p>\n

2. Complete the two questions in the Get Started section. When you select Medical, Dental, Vision or Medicare, the screen will expand to display an additional question: \u201cDo you have a Subscriber\/Member ID?\u201d<\/p>\n

3. If you click \u201cYes,\u201d you will see the screen at right with additional fields for you to complete and a sample ID card for the type of coverage you selected will display. Complete the fields and click the Continue button. (Skip to step 4 in this document if you answered “Yes.”)<\/p>\n

4. If you click \u201cNo,\u201d you will see this screen. Click one of the options to receive a verification code by text message or voice call.<\/p>\n

5. Additional fields display. Complete the fields and click Get Code. You will receive a code via text or voice call. The code is a six-digit number and expires after 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

6. When you receive the code, enter it here, and then click Continue. Note: You have four attempts to correctly enter the code. Each code expires after 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

7. Next, create a Username and Password. You will use these to log in to the system.<\/p>\n

  • The Username must be at least 6 characters with no spaces, and it can be a combination of numbers and letters.<\/li>\n
  • The Password must be at least 6 characters with no spaces, and it must include a number or symbol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    8. Enter your Password a second time to confirm it.<\/p>\n

    9. Select a security question or choose to create your own and create your answer.<\/p>\n

    10. Enter and then confirm your email address.<\/p>\n
