To access the\u00a0Massachusetts Licensing and Permitting Portal,\u00a0 follow these steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If you\u2019re a\u00a0first-time user<\/strong>, register by creating an account with a username and password\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. After registering,\u00a0log in<\/strong>\u00a0using your username and password to access the portal.<\/li>\n
  3. For\u00a0existing users<\/strong>, simply use the login box on the right side of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you encounter any technical issues, you can reach out to the ePLACE Help Desk Team at (844) 733-7522 or e-mail them at ePLACE_Helpdesk@Mass.Gov. For non-technical matters, contact the relevant issuing agency directly using the provided links.<\/p>\n

    The Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL) is pleased to provide licensees with the ability to renew professional license(s) online through https:\/\/elicensing21.mass.gov\/CitizenAccess\/Default.aspx.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    To renew your license online, please refer to the instructions detailed below.<\/p>\n

    Renewal Instructions<\/span><\/h2>\n

    To renew online, you will need your Record ID (License Number) and Authorization Code. This information is provided on the license renewal application which is mailed to your address of record. Licenses are eligible to be renewed 90-days before their expiration date.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    You can also retrieve your Authorization code\u00a0here<\/a>. To do so, please be sure to have the following information ready:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. License Number\/Record ID;<\/li>\n
    2. Last Four (4) Digits of your SSN for FEIN; and<\/li>\n
    3. License Serial Number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \"\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Once you have your Record ID and Authorization Code, you may complete the following steps to renew online:<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

      1. Visit the <\/span>ePLACE<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/a>Portal to register for an account if you are a new user or to log in with your\u00a0username and password if you are a returning user. Detailed instructions on how to create a portal account can be found\u00a0<\/span>here<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. Returning users who have already linked their license should skip to step 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

      2. Once you have registered your account, log in with your new username and password.<\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Link your existing license to the account. To do so, click on the \u201cHome\u201d tab, and complete the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Select the \u201cLink your license, p<\/span>ermit or certificate\u201d link under \u201cWhat would you like to do?\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Select the \u201cLink Your License\/Permit\/Certificate to Your Account\u201d link dropdown; and click the circle next to \u201cLink your license\/permit\/certificate to your portal account\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Continue button<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. In the Record Link page, do the following:<\/span>\n
            \n
          1. For Agency:\u00a0 select DPL (Division of Professional Licensure)<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. For Record Identification Code:\u00a0 enter your Record ID (Example: 1234-PL-M1)<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. For Authorization Code:\u00a0 enter your Authorization Code (Example: 1234567899)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          4. Click the Continue button<\/span><\/li>\n
          5. On the next page review what you entered for accuracy, then click the Continue button<\/span><\/li>\n
          6. A confirmation message appears stating you successfully completed linking your account<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            4. Navigate back to the \u201cManage Licenses, Permits, and Certificates\u201d page and you should see your license listed and the option to renew.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            5. In the right column labeled \u201cAction\u201d, you will see a link for \u201cRenew\u201d. This is the link for your online license renewal. Click that link to begin the process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            For technical assistance in using this portal, please call the ePLACE Help Desk Team at (844)-733-7522 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\u00a0Monday-Friday<\/p>\n

            PLEASE NOTE: \u00a0Our agency is phasing out paper renewal forms. Licensees will increasingly need to renew online. Licensees may only renew their license ONCE per license cycle, preferably online, OR via postal mail if available. Please DO NOT renew online AND by mail. Doing so will result in a delayed approval of your license.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            Renewal Fees & Payment Information<\/span><\/h2>\n

            As part of the online renewal process, licensees must also submit payment for the renewal fee electronically.
