Go to the Department of Social Services Website to check your child\u2019s Medicaid status: https:\/\/mydss.mo.gov\/ and click on the \u201cCheck My Status\u201d button.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Over 90,000 children in Missouri have been dropped from MO HealthNet (Medicaid) since Jan. 2018. Your child may be one of them. Did you get a yellow annual renewal form in the mail in an envelope with the word \u201ctime-sensitive?\u201d<\/p>\n

It looks like this. Did you complete it and return it? Have you checked to make sure your child has insurance coverage?<\/p>\n

If not, your child may no longer have insurance coverage even if you submitted the form.<\/p>\n

MO HealthNet\/Medicaid includes the following companies \u2013 look at your child\u2019s insurance card.<\/p>\n

WHAT TO DO: <\/span><\/h2>\n

Go to the Department of Social Services Website to check your child\u2019s Medicaid status: https:\/\/mydss.mo.gov\/ and click on the \u201cCheck My Status\u201d button.<\/p>\n

If your child has lost insurance coverage, you MUST reapply online at https:\/\/mydss.mo.gov\/qualify.<\/p>\n

\"Department<\/p>\n

Call the Family Support Division at 1-855-373-9994 if your child has lost insurance \/ Medicaid coverage or if you need assistance with the online application. You can also go to your child\u2019s medical provider or school and ask to speak with (insert contact name you prefer for your organization) who can help you.<\/p>\n

    You can locate a member’s DCN by\u00a0accessing the MO HealthNet Web Portal<\/b>. You will need the member’s name and date of birth.<\/p>\n

    The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth and move families to self sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy and productive lives.<\/p>\n

    Now you can upload important documents that FSD may need, right from your phone,\u00a0tablet or computer. Visit\u00a0myDSSupload.mo.gov<\/a>\u00a0to send documents like: applications, verification requirements, review forms, or supporting documents (paystub or marriage license)<\/p>\n

    FOOD ASSISTANCE<\/span><\/h2>\n

    If you are struggling to pay for food for you and your family, help is available through the following programs:<\/p>\n

    \uf0b7 Food Stamp (SNAP) Benefits\u2014<\/strong>A monthly benefit to help low-income households buy food. To get help through SNAP, you will need to apply and complete an interview.
    \n\u2014https:\/\/mydss.mo.gov\/food-assistance<\/p>\n

    \uf0b7 Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)\u2014<\/strong>Provides supplemental food, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and healthcare referrals to income-eligible women, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday. Help is available to mothers and other caregivers.\u2014wic.mo.gov<\/p>\n

    \uf0b7 Food Pantries\u2014<\/strong>There are over 1,000 Food Pantries across the state that provide food to those in need.\u2014feedingmissouri.org<\/p>\n

    \uf0b7 Temporary Assistance Program\u2014<\/strong>Provides cash benefits to lowincome families for the household\u2019s children such as clothing, utilities, and other needs.\u2014mydss.mo.gov\/temporary-assistance<\/p>\n

    \uf0b7 Free and Reduced School Meals\u2014<\/strong>Parents and guardians of school-aged children should complete an application to receive free or reduced price meals at school.
