Social Security Payment Schedule 2024<\/span><\/h1>\n

Maximum Federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment amounts increase with the cost-of-living increases that apply to Social Security benefits. The latest such increase,\u00a03.2 percent, becomes effective January 2024.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Millions of United States citizens will be able to get a\u00a0Social Security<\/em>\u00a0payment of\u00a0$1800<\/em>\u00a0in just a few hours if they qualify.<\/p>\n

SSI amounts for 2024<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The monthly maximum Federal amounts for 2024 are $943 for an eligible individual, $1,415 for an eligible individual with an eligible spouse, and $472 for an essential person.<\/p>\n

In general, monthly amounts for the next year are determined by increasing the\u00a0unrounded annual amounts<\/i>\u00a0for the current year by the COLA effective for January of the next year. The new unrounded amounts are then each divided by 12 and the resulting amounts are rounded down to the next lower multiple of $1.<\/p>\n
