To activate Michigan Bridge Card Call the Interactive Voice Response Unit (IVRU), an Automated Customer Service number at 1- 888-678-8914, choose language option, then option 2 for WIC, enter 16-digit card number, and follow prompts.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

After you apply for SNAP or WV WORKS benefits and are approved, you will receive your first Michigan EBT card<\/strong> in the mail 5-10 days after it is ordered.\u00a0 Once you get your card<\/strong>, you will need to activate<\/strong> it before you can use it.\u00a0 Activating<\/strong> your card is easy and will only take you a few minutes.<\/p>\n

How do I request a new Bridge Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n

You can request a new Bridge Card<\/strong> by calling 1-888-678-8914<\/strong>. Click here for more information about replacing your Bridge Card<\/p>\n

Clients can view more benefit information than ever before in the new MI Bridges. For active cases, clients who are the heads of household can view benefit amounts, renewal dates, the date benefits are added to their Bridge card, and much more<\/p>\n

There are two ways you can activate your first WV EBT card<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. You can call the number on the back of your card (1-866-545-6502<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  2. You can go to www.ebtEDGE.com<\/strong> and use the Cardholder Portal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To activate your card by calling the number on the back<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    \u2022 Dial 1-866-545-6502<\/strong> and listen to the automated system.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Enter your 16- digit card number on the front of your card.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Enter your Date of Birth. The format is mm\/dd\/yy.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Enter your Social Security Number when prompted.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Select 4 numbers as your Personal Identification Number (PIN) when prompted.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 When prompted, re-enter the numbers you selected as your PIN.<\/p>\n

    PIN Select – New Card<\/span><\/h2>\n

    If this is a brand new card, the PIN Select screen will let you choose a PIN.<\/p>\n

    To access the PIN select page:<\/p>\n

    1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Enter your 16 digit EBT Card number in the\u00a0EBT Card #\u00a0field in the\u00a0Cardholder Log In\u00a0page.<\/p>\n

    2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Click the\u00a0Login\u00a0button. The\u00a0PIN Select<\/i>\u00a0page displays.<\/p>\n

    To activate your card your card by using the Cardholder Portal:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Go to\u00a0www.ebtEDGE.com.<\/li>\n
    2. In the left-hand column, click on \u201cCardholder Login\u201d.<\/li>\n
    3. Enter your 16-digit card number.\u00a0 Click the Login button.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the \u201cPIN Select\u201d which is found in the green stripe.<\/li>\n
    5. Enter your Date of Birth.\u00a0\u00a0 The format is mm\/dd\/yy. Use the tab key to move between fields.<\/li>\n
    6. Enter your Social Security Number.<\/li>\n
    7. Select 4 numbers as your PIN<\/li>\n
    8. Re-enter the 4 numbers you selected for your PIN<\/li>\n
    9. Click on \u201cUpdate\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How do I know if I’m eligible?<\/span><\/h2>\n
      You may be eligible if any of the following apply to you or someone in your household:<\/div>\n

        \n
      • You have a child in your household that is under the age of 18, or 18 years old and attending high school.<\/li>\n
      • You are pregnant or parents of a child in foster care who is expected to return home within one year from date of application.<\/li>\n
      • You are 65 or older, or permanently or temporarily disabled, or taking care of a person with a disability in your household.<\/li>\n
      • You are receiving disability benefits and have a child under the age of 18 in your household.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Benefits are calculated based on your household\u2019s total income, expenses, and assets.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
