Set up your Android for Google Apps<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Learn how to sign in to Google Apps and use its native apps on Android.<\/p>\n

Add your Google Apps account to your device<\/h3>\n

To use the native Google Apps mail, contacts, and calendar apps on your Android, you need to sign in to your HUSD Google Apps account. You only have to do this once:<\/p>\n

  1. Open the\u00a0Accounts & sync Settings<\/strong>\u00a0screen on your device. You can do this in\u00a0Contacts<\/strong>\u00a0by pressing\u00a0Menu<\/strong>\u00a0and pressing\u00a0Accounts<\/strong>, or directly in the\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0application.\n

    The\u00a0Accounts & sync settings<\/strong>\u00a0screen displays your current sync settings and a list of your current accounts.<\/li>\n

  2. Touch\u00a0Add<\/strong>\u00a0account<\/strong>.\n

      1. Touch\u00a0Google<\/strong> to add your Google Apps account.<\/li>\n
      2. Touch\u00a0Sign in<\/strong>\u00a0when prompted for your HUSD Google Account. Make sure to sign in using\u00a0username@husd.k12.ca.us<\/b> (e.g. msmith@husd.k12.ca.us)<\/li>\n
      3. Enter your full HUSD Google Apps email address as your username, and then enter your password.<\/li>\n
      4. Select which services you’d like to sync.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            That’s it! You can now use Google Apps from your Android. Just launch Gmail, Google Calendar, or whichever app you want to use, from your device’s\u00a0home<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0applications<\/strong>\u00a0screen.<\/p>\n

            Add other apps on Google Play<\/span><\/h2>\n

            If an app isn’t already installed on your device, such as\u00a0Google Docs\u00a0or\u00a0Google Apps Lookup, search for it on Google Play. Most Android apps by Google can be installed for free.<\/p>\n
