Don&#8217;t have the app?\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.optum.com\/library\/health-finances\/page.hub.optum-financial-mobile-app.html?cid=opfin:web:Card_Carrieropfin:App::2368907ld05\">Download it now.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">Sign in to your account online, navigate to the Cards section and follow the prompts to activate your new card. If you don&#8217;t have an online account, it&#8217;s easy to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthsafe-id.com\/rt\/login\/secure_optumfinancial\/en\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">set one up.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><em><strong><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">However you choose to activate your card, be sure to:<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">Have the last 4 digits of the primary account holder\u2019s Social Security number on hand<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">Review the Cardholder Agreement, which was mailed with your card<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">Keep your card even if you use all of your funds. Also, Publication 502 from the IRS identifies which medical and dental expenses can be claimed on your taxes every year. Publication 502 is updated regularly and can be found at irs.gov.*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"o4-text__body-2\">Your benefit materials include information about the eligible medical expenses that your account covers.
