To login to the Oracle Identity Self Service, Go to the Oracle Identity Self Service login page at oim.oraclecorp.com. In the User ID field, enter your username. In the Password field, enter your password. Click Sign In.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Oracle Identity Self Service provides user self-service and delegated identity administration features that serve most of the users of Oracle Identity Manager. This console provides access to the self service console and unauthenticated self service console.<\/p>\n

Log In (Authenticate) to Oracle Identity Self Service<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Go to the Oracle Identity Self Service login page.<\/p>\n

2. In the User ID field, enter your username.<\/p>\n

3. In the Password field, enter your password.<\/p>\n

4. Click Sign In<\/span>. If you are successfully authenticated, then you are logged in and directed to the main page in the authenticated context.<\/p>\n

5. The login attempt might generate an error because of the following reasons:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Incorrect credentials:<\/span>\u00a0If the user name and password entered are not correct, then an error message is displayed. This may be because of the following reasons:\n
      \n
    • \n
        \n
      • Username does not exist.<\/li>\n
      • Password is incorrect.<\/li>\n
      • Username exists but the user is deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Locked account:<\/span>\u00a0If the account is locked, then you are not allowed to log in even if the credentials are correct. If an account is locked by the system and not manually locked, then the system configuration property \u201dDirect Locked User to Forgotten Password\u201d determines if the error message stating that the account is locked also directs you to the \u201dForgot Password\u201d feature. Going through that flow successfully will unlock a locked account if the system is configured to do so.<\/li>\n
      • Disabled user:<\/span>\u00a0If your user account is disabled, then you are not allowed to log in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \"Description<\/p>\n

        6. If your password has expired, then the Change Password form is displayed. You are not allowed to proceed to the main page of the console without changing the password. Enter a new password, and click Sign In<\/span><\/p>\n

        7. If the system requires you to specify challenge responses, then specify it and click Submit<\/span><\/p>\n

        8. Alternatively, you can click Cancel<\/span>\u00a0if you want to avoid setting challenge questions and logging on to Identity Self Service. You set challenge questions to reset your password without calling the helpdesk. Note that these challenge questions are a unique set of questions and answers.<\/p>\n

        If you attempting to access a page, for example the Pending Approvals page, and you are checking for the pending approvals from a link and you are not logged in already, then you are redirected to the login page. Follow the login instruction provided in this section to log in to Oracle Identity Manager. However, you will be directed to the page you are attempting to access, the Pending Approvals page, instead of the main page of Identity Self Service.<\/p>\n

        Identity Self Service supports access to unauthenticated self-service tasks in the Unauthenticated Self Service Console. Users who have not authenticated into, or not logged in to Identity Self Service can access the Unauthenticated Self Service Console by clicking the Forgot User Login?, Forgot Password?, New User Registration, or Track My Information links. This console enables an unauthenticated user to retrieve a forgotten user login ID or password, register to the Oracle Identity Manager environment, and track the registration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
