Here are the steps you can follow:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Interactive Voice Response (IVR):<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Call 1800 1800 and follow the instructions to activate your Credit Card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember, whether you choose Customer Care assistance, Internet Banking, or iMobile Pay, you can activate your Credit Card easily in just a few minutes!\u00a0\ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n<p>If you have applied for a credit card through our website, you can track the status by clicking on &#8220;Track Application Status&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>You will then be asked to enter information such as your application Id, Mobile number, PAN and Date of Birth. If these details match with what we have in our records, you will be able to see the status of your credit card application.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Activating Credit Card Online<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To activate your new Credit Card, we request you to call our Customer Care between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm from your registered mobile number. To know the Customer Care numbers, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icicibank.com\/customer-care.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the banks allow you to activate your Credit card by generating its PIN from the nearest ATM of the bank. However, some banks allow you to do it online too. If your bank offers this feature as well, follow these steps for activating your ATM card:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the official Internet Banking website of your bank and log in with your User ID and Password which you might have received in the welcome kit.<\/li>\n<li>Once logged in, look for the Generate ATM PIN option and select &#8220;Generate Now&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>You will now be asked to enter your 16-digit ATM card number along with the 3-digit CVV which is mentioned at the back of your new Credit card.<\/li>\n<li>Submit these details to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the OTP, and you can now set a 4-digit PIN for your card.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have successfully configured the ATM PIN, you can now use your ATM card for withdrawing money from ATMs and offline transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of the banks now also allow you to set ATM PIN through their official mobile apps.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Generating 3D Secure PIN<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While ATM withdrawal and offline transactions can be done with the Credit card and ATM PIN, you will need something known as 3D Secure PIN for online transactions. Here is how you can set this 3D Secure PIN for using online ATM card:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are doing an online purchase, select \u201cCredit Card\u201d as the payment option and enter your Credit Card details<\/li>\n<li>As you will be using your Credit card online for the first time, you will be redirected to the 3D Secure registration page automatically<\/li>\n<li>On this page, you can set your 3D Secure PIN either by entering your ATM PIN or by receiving an OTP on your mobile number<\/li>\n<li>Once you enter your ATM PIN or OTP, you will be asked to select a 6-digit 3D Secure PIN<\/li>\n<li>Submit this PIN and re-enter it to confirm your choice<\/li>\n<li>You can now use your ATM card for online transactions too<\/li>\n<li>You will be asked to enter this 6-digit PIN every time you make online payments through your Credit Card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"sf-panel-more-FAQ\">\n<h2 class=\"sf-FAQ-searchHead\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I upgrade my Credit Card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sf-searchDesc-FGroup\">\n<p>You can upgrade your credit card through the following channels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internet Banking:<\/strong>\u00a0Login to www.icicibank.com and go to Customer Service &gt; Service Requests &gt; Credit Card &gt; More &gt; Apply for a Credit Card &gt; Upgrade Credit Card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>iMobile Pay:<\/strong>\u00a0Login to iMobile Pay app and go to Services &gt; Cards Services &gt; Upgrade Credit Card<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, You may call our customer care on\u00a0<strong>1860 120 7777<\/strong>\u00a0between 07:00 am\u00a0to 09:00 pm to upgrade your credit card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"accordion-head active\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I use my credit card?<\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"5-panel\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<div>\n<h3><em>To use your credit card at merchant outlet, please follow the following instructions:<\/em><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>The merchant will dip your card at a PIN enabled POS terminal<\/li>\n<li>The merchant will enter the amount to be paid by you<\/li>\n<li>The POS terminal will prompt for the PIN<\/li>\n<li>Enter your 4 digit Credit Card PIN on the POS terminal. Look for a lock icon in the status bar of your web browser.
