Roku Subscriptions renew automatically until you turn off auto-renew and unsubscribe. If you’ve subscribed to a paid or premium subscription through Roku Pay<\/a>\u00a0or through The Roku Channel,\u00a0you can turn off auto-renew and cancel the subscription at any time.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll continue to have access to your subscription until the end of your current billing period, and will not be charged moving forward. Free subscription trials must be cancelled before the free trial period ends to avoid recurring subscription charges.<\/p>\n

Note that if you have subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Prime Video, or other streaming services that are\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0managed or billed through Roku, you need to contact those service providers directly to cancel your subscription.<\/p>\n

How to turn off auto-renew and cancel subscriptions on your computer or mobile device<\/span><\/h2>\n

To turn off auto-renew and cancel subscriptions purchased with\u00a0Roku Pay\u00a0or through The Roku Channel, go to\u00a0Manage your subscriptions<\/strong>\u00a0in your Roku account.<\/p>\n

    Channel subscriptions purchased through Roku can also be cancelled on your Roku streaming device.<\/p>\n

    2. Highlight the channel you want to cancel<\/li>\n
    3. Press\u00a0Star<\/strong>\u00a0\"star\u00a0on your remote to open the options menu<\/li>\n

    5. To unsubscribe, select\u00a0Cancel subscription<\/strong><\/li>\n

      After you cancel, you’ll continue to have access to all the premium features that come with a\u00a0Roku Smart Home Subscription\u00a0until the billing period ends, as well as access to any stored cloud recordings for up to 14 days after the billing period ends. Without a subscription, cameras and doorbells can be used with their free features. If you change your mind about canceling, go to\u00a0Manage Subscriptions<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Resubscribe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      How to turn off auto-renew and cancel a Roku Smart Home Subscription<\/span><\/h2>\n

      1. Sign in to\u00a0your Roku account<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. Select\u00a0Manage your subscriptions<\/strong><\/li>\n
      3. Select Roku Smart Home Subscription under\u00a0Active subscriptions<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. If you have both a\u00a0camera plan\u00a0and a\u00a0Pro Monitoring plan, select\u00a0Manage subscription<\/strong>\u00a0under the plan you want to cancel. You’ll need to cancel your plans separately, so be sure to repeat these steps for each one.<\/li>\n
      5. If you’re cancelling a subscription for individual cameras\/doorbells,\u00a0uncheck all devices<\/strong><\/li>\n
      6. Uncheck all cameras and doorbells<\/strong><\/li>\n
      7. Review your changes and select\u00a0Turn off auto-renew<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        You’ll have access to all the Roku Smart Home Subscription features for the remainder of your billing period. For example, if you subscribe to a monthly plan on January 1 and cancel it on January 15, you’ll have access to the subscription until January 31. If you purchase an annual subscription on January 1 and cancel it on January 31, you’ll still have access to your subscription until December 31.<\/p>\n

        About subscription billing periods<\/span><\/h2>\n

        When you cancel a subscription you\u2019ll be able to use it until the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions must be canceled before the next billing period begins to avoid additional charges. For example:<\/p>\n

        • If you buy an annual subscription on January 1 for $99.99 and decide to cancel your subscription on July 1, you\u2019ll have access to the subscription until December 31. You won\u2019t be charged another yearly subscription of $99.99 the following January 1.<\/li>\n
