Apple TV Student Discount : How to get a student subscription to Apple TV<\/span><\/h1>\n

If you have an Apple Music student subscription, you can enjoy free access to Apple TV+ for a limited time. Just open the Apple TV app and start watching Apple Originals.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Students enrolled in degree-granting universities and colleges can join Apple Music at a discounted monthly rate for up to 48 months. And if you have an Apple Music student subscription, you also get Apple TV+ for a limited time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To qualify for an Apple Music student subscription, you must be a student studying a bachelor degree, post-graduate degree, or equivalent Higher Education course at a University, College (U.S. only) or Post-Secondary School (Canada only). Junior, technical colleges, and special courses are also eligible in Japan.<\/p>\n

How to get a student subscription to Apple Music<\/span><\/h2>\n
\n

1) Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.<\/p>\n

2) Go to Listen Now or For You.<\/p>\n

3) Tap or click the trial offer (one trial per person or family).<\/p>\n

4) Choose Student, then tap or click Verify Eligibility.<\/p>\n

5) You’ll be taken to the UNiDAYS website where you’ll need to follow the onscreen prompts to verify your enrollment. After UNiDAYS verifies that you’re a student, you’ll be redirected back to the Apple Music app or iTunes.<\/p>\n

6) Sign in with the Apple ID and password that you use to make purchases. If you don\u2019t have an Apple ID, choose Create New Apple ID, then follow the steps.<\/p>\n

7) Confirm your billing information and add a valid payment method.<\/p>\n

8) Tap or click Join.<\/p>\n

How to get Apple TV+<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you have an Apple Music student subscription, you can enjoy free access to Apple TV+ for a limited time. Just open the Apple TV app and start watching Apple Originals. You can’t share your free Apple TV+ access with Family Sharing.<\/p>\n

How to reverify your student status<\/span><\/h2>\n
\n

Near the end of each year that you have an Apple Music student subscription, you’ll see a message that asks you to verify your student status in the Apple Music app or iTunes.\u00a0You can also verify your student status at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you see a message that asks you to verify your student status:<\/p>\n

  1. Tap or click Verify Eligibility.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap or click Go to Website.<\/li>\n
  3. Sign in to your institution’s\u00a0portal.<\/li>\n
  4. After you sign in to your institution’s portal, you\u2019ll be directed back to Apple Music and see a confirmation screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    In Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch<\/h3>\n

      \n
    1. Go to Settings > [your name], then tap Subscriptions.<\/li>\n
    2. Tap Apple Music Membership.<\/li>\n
    3. Tap “Verify your student status.” You’ll be redirected to the UNiDAYS website.<\/li>\n
    4. Follow the prompts to verify your eligibility. If the verification is successful, you’ll automatically return to Apple Music and continue your Apple Music student subscription.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      If you’re no longer a student<\/h3>\n
      \n

      If you’re no longer a student or if you\u00a0complete 48 months\u00a0of a student subscription, your subscription\u00a0automatically becomes an Apple Music individual subscription\u00a0and you lose free access to Apple TV+.<\/p>\n

      If you’re prompted to verify your student status after launching Apple Music, but you’re no longer a student or have completed 48 months of a subscription, tap or click “I’m No Longer A Student.” You won’t be asked to verify again.<\/p>\n
