\u2022 Vaccination is voluntary and no payment is required.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Everyone who registers will be offered vaccination. When it is your turn, you will receive an SMS with the date, time and place for your vaccination.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Registration is now open for everybody 50 years and older.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We are moving down the age groups as quickly as we can.<\/p>\n

Who must register?<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • All Healthcare Workers (public & private) who intend to be vaccinated in Phase I<\/li>\n
  • From 16 April\u00a0citizens aged 60 years and older (Minister Zweli Mkhize launch of registration for citizens above 60)<\/li>\n
  • From 1 July citizens aged 50 years and older<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    should enroll on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) on\u00a0http:\/\/vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za\/<\/p>\n

    What will the information be used for?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Information submitted during registration will be used to:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Identify eligible vaccination beneficiaries<\/li>\n
    • Plan supply of vaccines and ancillary items<\/li>\n
    • Allocate beneficiaries to their nearest available service point<\/li>\n
    • Communicate with enrolled individuals about the vaccination program, including but not limited to:\n
        \n
      • eligibility<\/li>\n
      • where they will be vaccinated<\/li>\n
      • follow-up vaccination appointments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        What do you need to register?<\/span><\/h2>\n
        1. Access to the internet on any device (cellphone, laptop, tablet, desktop etc.)<\/div>\n
        2. Your ID number or Passport (non-RSA), general contact information (your cellphone number will be used as the primary mode of communication).<\/div>\n
        3. Information about your employment (primary employer and location of work)<\/div>\n
        4. Where relevant, your professional registration details, and medical aid are also requested.<\/div>\n
        5. With all information at hand registration should take approximately 2-3 minutes (Three steps)<\/div>\n

          • If you would like to use an RSA ID click \u2018Use RSA ID\u2019 to return to landing page<\/li>\n
          • Please enter your general information.<\/li>\n
          • Your cell phone number will be used to communicate with you by SMS about the vaccination program, and to confirm your vaccination code\/ticket.<\/li>\n
          • Please ensure your cell phone number is entered correctly, starting with 27 (Country code) and removing the initial\/first 0<\/li>\n
          • Please enter the name of your primary employer and job title.<\/li>\n
          • Please select whether you are patientfacing or not (Yes\/No), based on whether you interact directly with patients.<\/li>\n
          • If you are patient facing, please select the location in which you work with patients from the dropdown list provided.<\/li>\n
          • Please select whether you are a Health Professional (Yes\/No), based on whether or not you are a Health Care Worker who is registered with a statutory body (e.g. Nursing Council).<\/li>\n
          • If you select Yes please enter your Professional body registration number and\/or Practice number, as appropriate.<\/li>\n
          • Please select your Medical Aid Scheme Name, Other, or None (if you have no Medical Aid) from the dropdown list.<\/li>\n
          • If you enter a Medical Aid Scheme you will be asked your Medical Aid Number. This is optional to complete.<\/li>\n
          • Once you\u2019ve completed this, please proceed to \u2018Next Step\u2019 (Step 3, Final Step)<\/li>\n
          • Please select your Primary location of work including Province, District, SubDistrict\/Local Municipality.\n

            1. \u2022 Please select your Health establishment from the dropdown list, or select \u2018other\u2019 if it is not listed.<\/li>\n
            2. \u2022 If you select \u2018other\u2019 please enter the name of your work location.<\/li>\n
            3. \u2022 Please enter the address for your location of work.<\/li>\n
            4. To complete your registration please accept the terms and conditions, and click \u2018Submit Registration\u2019<\/li>\n
            5. The Terms and Conditions are available on-screen as per the official SA coronovirus website.<\/li>\n
            6. If you have any comments or feedback please enter them in the optional Comments box.<\/li>\n
            7. The final screen will confirm that your registration has been successful.<\/li>\n
            8. You will receive an SMS notification confirming that your registration has been received by the EVDS.<\/li>\n
