On-screen instructions and prompts will guide you through the Activation process, but here\u2019s a preview of each step along the way.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I activate service on an iOS device using eSIM?<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3>It&#8217;s pretty simple. Before you start:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure you\u2019re activating an eSIM-compatible phone. Use the https:\/\/www.visible.com\/shop\/compatibility to verify if your device is compatible with eSIM.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019re activating a device not purchased through our site, make sure it is unlocked and ready for activation.<\/li>\n<li>If you are transferring your phone number from another carrier, you should have received a notification that the transfer is complete and you can proceed to activation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your device is connected to WiFi.<\/li>\n<li>Check for updates to your device&#8217;s operating system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you open the\u00a0 Visible App on your phone, you\u2019ll be prompted to start activation. On-screen instructions and prompts will guide you through the whole process, but here\u2019s a preview of each step along the way:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tap on each checkbox in the checklist and click \u201cGo to activation\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>A spinning circle will show on your screen while we set up your service.\u00a0 This usually takes less than 5 minutes, but it could take longer in some cases.<\/li>\n<li>When you\u2019re prompted to go to the \u201cInstall Cellular Plan\u201d screen, just tap Continue.<\/li>\n<li>Tap Continue again when you get to the \u201cAdd Cellular Plan\u201d screen.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll then be asked to choose a label for your Visible plan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: You may see more than one plan listed on the screen if you already have another plan on your phone.<\/p>\n<p>You can customize the label to designate different plans for placing calls, sending messages, and using FaceTime.\u00a0<br role=\"presentation\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>You\u2019ll\u00a0also be able to choose which plan you want to use before you place a call, send a message, or use FaceTime.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>To customize the label, tap on the plan and choose from one of the provided labels or create your own. Then tap Done.<\/li>\n<li>If you have more than one plan, you can choose the default line that will be used to call or send texts to people not in your Contacts on the \u201cDefault Line\u201d screen. You can always customize individual Contacts later by selecting them in your phone app. When you\u2019re done, tap Continue.<\/li>\n<li>Choose which cellular plan you prefer to use for iMessage\u00ae and FaceTime\u00ae, then tap Continue.<\/li>\n<li>Choose your default line for cellular data, then tap Continue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: You may want to turn \u201cAllow Cellular data switching\u201d on. This will allow your phone to use cellular data from both plans depending on coverage and availability.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li>At this point, you\u2019ll get a pop-up saying \u201cWaiting for Activation\u201d. Tap Dismiss.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll get another pop-up saying \u201cPhone is Activated\u201d a few seconds later, then you\u2019ll automatically be switched back to the Visible app.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re almost there. The last step is getting you connected to our network. This could take up to 15 minutes, so sit back and relax while we connect you. Your service will be available as soon as you\u2019re connected.<\/li>\n<li>When you see \u201cVisible\u201d and several bars in the top left corner of your screen, you\u2019re connected and can start using your service (no need to restart your phone first).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: It&#8217;s Important to double-check that you\u2019re definitely connected to the network and that service is working properly (even though you\u2019re able to use your phone). To do this, simply turn off your phone\u2019s WiFi and text or call your Visible number from another device to make sure it goes through.<\/p>\n<div class=\" bRMDJf islir\">\n<div class=\"sc-kRyIhi fqHiIB\">\n<div class=\"sc-cMVttN keIbMv\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"sc-dPaNSN kYgMBn sc-dhWlHS exkXyW aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.visible.com\/uploads\/Upgrade_Program_deals_e654b70d42.png\" alt=\"Deals General Image\" width=\"500\" height=\"338\" data-bdd=\"wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Visible Wireless QR code activation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>You\u2019ll need a second device (laptop, computer, tablet, or another phone) to display the QR code. If you don\u2019t have access to another device, just tap \u201cEnter code\u201d at the bottom of the screen to enter your QR code information manually.<\/li>\n<li>On your second device, go to Visible.com and sign in to your account. Then head to the Account Overview page and locate your QR code image.<\/li>\n<li>On the phone you\u2019re activating, without exiting the Visible app, go to Settings&gt;Cellular&gt;Add Cellular Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Position your phone over the QR code displayed on your second device to scan it.<\/li>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have access to another device, tap \u201cEnter Details Manually\u201d at the bottom of the screen. You\u2019ll be asked to enter information in two different fields. You can find the information for these fields in the Visible app. Simply copy and paste the information, one field at a time, from the Visible app into the matching field in Settings (to paste, press down on the field for a few seconds until the \u201cPaste\u201d option appears).<\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts and tap \u201cAdd Cellular Plan\u201d then \u201cDone\u201d, while Cellular Setup is completed.<\/li>\n<li>At this point, please return to the Visible app and tap \u201cCheck Status\u201d to check if activation is complete. You should do this even if you received an error message at the end of QR activation in the previous step.<\/li>\n<li>The last step is getting you connected to our network. This could take up to 15 minutes, so sit back and relax while we connect you.
