Proof of residency in the county for which you apply is required upon your name being drawn off the waiting list for assistance.<\/p>\n<h2 data-aura-rendered-by=\"66:2;a\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Apply For Benefits<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A streamlined and dynamic application for multiple programs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-wrapper\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"77:2;a\">\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"78:2;a\">Healthcare Coverage<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"80:2;a\">Helps pay for medical costs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"icon-wrapper\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"82:2;a\">\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"94:2;a\">Food Assistance Program (FAP)<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"96:2;a\">Provides benefits to buy or grow food.<\/p>\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"88:2;a\">Cash Assistance<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"90:2;a\">Provides cash to help meet your basic needs.<\/p>\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"104:2;a\">Women, Infants, &amp; Children (WIC)<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"106:2;a\">Helps moms and kids up to age 5 with food, education, etc.<\/p>\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"112:2;a\">State Emergency Relief (SER)<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"114:2;a\">Provides help or assistance for emergency housing, utility, and burial situations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-wrapper\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"117:2;a\">\n<h3 data-aura-rendered-by=\"118:2;a\">Child Development &amp; Care (CDC)<\/h3>\n<p class=\"slds-medium-show\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"120:2;a\">Helps pay for childcare costs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"icon-wrapper\" data-aura-rendered-by=\"122:2;a\">\n<p>The following counties in Michigan will soon have waiting lists for the Housing Choice Voucher Programme run by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).<\/p>\n<p>The date and time for each list is specified below; those without a closing date and time will remain open. You may not apply to a county\u2019s waiting list before the opening date and time. You are only allowed one application. Applications are available on-line only; no paper applications will be available or accepted. If assistance with completing the application is required due to a disability, please call 517-241-8986. Eligible applicants received through the website will be entered on the waiting list in the order received (date and time). Preference will be given to those living or working in the county selected.
