On February 27, 2023, Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president and CEO of The Pok\u00e9mon Company, hosted a special Pok\u00e9mon Day Pok\u00e9mon Presents. During this presentation, Mr. Ishihara revealed new information about\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em><\/a>, including the announcement of the upcoming DLC, entitled\u00a0The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/em>.<\/p>\n

There was also more news about\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Sleep<\/a>,\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/a>, the Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game,\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Masters EX<\/a>,\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon UNITE<\/a>, and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Caf\u00e9 ReMix<\/a>. Additionally, we learned about\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Concierge<\/em>, a new animated series. Finally, the Pok\u00e9mon Presents wouldn\u2019t have been complete without news of the\u00a02023 Pok\u00e9mon World Championships<\/a>, and Chris Brown, director of global esports and events producer at The Pok\u00e9mon Company International, provided details about the exciting event that will be held in Japan for the first time from August 11\u201313.<\/p>\n

Fans who have been exploring the Paldea region in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em><\/a>\u00a0have more fun in store now that a pair of new Paradox Pok\u00e9mon are appearing in Tera Raid Battles.\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em>\u00a0players will encounter the Water- and Dragon-type Pok\u00e9mon Walking Wake, while those playing\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em>\u00a0will find the Grass- and Psychic-type Pok\u00e9mon Iron Leaves. You can catch these Pok\u00e9mon in Tera Raid Battles now.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em>\u00a0can now also connect with Pok\u00e9mon GO, allowing you to send Postcards from the mobile game to the Nintendo Switch titles. The Postcards\u2019 location data will affect the pattern of Vivillon that appear in\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em>. Sending Postcards also opens up the opportunity to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pok\u00e9mon GO. When Pok\u00e9mon HOME support is added to\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em>\u00a0early this year, you\u2019ll be able to bring the Roaming Form Gimmighoul that you\u2019ve caught in Pok\u00e9mon GO into your Paldean adventure.<\/p>\n

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

That wasn\u2019t the only\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Violet<\/em>\u00a0news. It was revealed that DLC,\u00a0The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/em>, is coming in two parts later this year. Part 1:\u00a0The Teal Mask<\/em>\u00a0has you visiting the land of Kitakami on a school trip and will be released in fall 2023. Part 2:\u00a0The Indigo Disk<\/em>\u00a0will see you become an exchange student at Blueberry Academy and is slated for winter 2023. During these adventures, you\u2019ll encounter some familiar Pok\u00e9mon that you hadn\u2019t seen in Paldea, as well as the newly discovered Legendary Pok\u00e9mon, Ogerpon and Terapagos.<\/p>\n

You can purchase the version of\u00a0The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero<\/em>\u00a0that matches your game version now on Nintendo eShop. When you do, you\u2019ll get the New Uniform Set to give your character some new outfits, and as an early-purchase bonus, you\u2019ll receive a code that allows you to claim a special Hisuian Zoroark for your in-game team.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sleep<\/span><\/h2>\n

We were also treated to a look at the long-awaited\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Sleep<\/a>, which is coming later this year. In this game, you work together with Professor Neroli and Snorlax to research the way Pok\u00e9mon sleep, and to do so, all you need to do is get a good night\u2019s sleep. By leaving your smartphone by your pillow when you go to bed, your sleep will be measured and analyzed. Your sleep will be categorized into one of three \u201csleep types,\u201d and Pok\u00e9mon that sleep in similar ways will gather around Snorlax.<\/p>\n

To aid in your research, the new Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + accessory can be used with Pok\u00e9mon Sleep. This handy device operates with the push of a button, and it can measure your sleep data when it\u2019s placed by your pillow. There\u2019s also a Pikachu within the Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + that can sing lullabies for you. The more sleep you get together, the friendlier this Pikachu will become\u2014you can even unlock new alarm sounds as your bond grows.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sleep is planned to launch in summer 2023, and the Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + is scheduled to release on July 14, 2023. You\u2019ll enjoy waking up each day to see which Pok\u00e9mon sleep styles you can discover.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + will also enhance your\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/a>\u00a0game. Using the device allows you to automatically spin Pok\u00e9Stops and throw Pok\u00e9 Balls at Pok\u00e9mon without having to pull out your smartphone. By linking your Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + to Pok\u00e9mon GO, you\u2019ll also get access to Special Research leading to an encounter with a Snorlax wearing a nightcap. And stay tuned\u2014there are plans to add new features to Pok\u00e9mon GO that will incorporate the sleep data recorded by the Pok\u00e9mon GO Plus + device!<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Concierge<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

The world of Pok\u00e9mon animation continues to grow with a new collaborative project between The Pok\u00e9mon Company and Netflix.\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Concierge<\/em>\u00a0is a Netflix series that utilizes groundbreaking stop-motion animation to tell a new story from within the world of Pok\u00e9mon. Set at the Pok\u00e9mon Resort, the series follows Haru, the resort\u2019s concierge, and the many Pok\u00e9mon that visit as guests.
