Your TV service provider is the source of any messages informing you that you lack permission, need to re-authenticate, or that an authentication issue occurred. If this is the case, it’s likely because the channels you need are not part of the provider’s basic package. Accessing protected content on the A&E apps and\/or website requires a subscription to A&E on television, which you cannot get if your current service package just includes internet or if you have a TV package but A&E is not featured in the TV channel list.<\/p>\n

Currently, access to all of our applications and website content requires sign-in with a supported TV provider that includes the A&E channel. Unlocked content is always accessible and can be seen without registering with a service.<\/p>\n

If an error notice is appearing and you aren’t able to unlock all videos, you may need to contact your service provider to discuss upgrading your subscription to have access to A&E programming.<\/p>\n

How to Activate the A&E on Various Platforms<\/span><\/h2>\n

1.If you are connecting your TV provider to the app, enter your code at aetv.com\/activate.<\/p>\n

If you are creating or syncing a profile (to continue watching on different devices), enter your code at aetv.com\/register.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0Select Your Device APPLE TV, ROKU, FIRE TV, OTHER.<\/p>\n

3. Sync Your Device : Enter your activation code.<\/p>\n

4. Then Press Continue button<\/p>\n

5. If the code is valid, then you can start watching favorite A&E shows.<\/p>\n
