Division of Motor Vehicles uses an online service at www.ncdot.gov, called PayIt, that allows you to take advantage of completing multiple services and Online Payments in one secure transaction.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/payments.ncdot.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myNCDMV<\/a>\u00a0delivers a user-friendly mobile and website application with a smart, responsive interface that allows users to complete transactions faster.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the old way of completing NCDMV online services, myNCDMV allows users to complete multiple services in one secure transaction.<strong>\u00a0PayIt \u2013 the vendor that provides the myNCDMV secure online payment service \u2013 charges users a $3\u200b\u00a0fee per transaction.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">myNCDMV is currently available for driver license and vehicle registration transactions, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">\n<li>Driver license renewals.<\/li>\n<li>Driver license duplicates\/replacements.<\/li>\n<li>Registration renewals.<\/li>\n<li>Property tax payments on limited registration license plates.<\/li>\n<li>Duplicate registration card requests.<\/li>\n<li>Personalized and specialty license plate orders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/payments.ncdot.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><picture><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncdot.gov\/dmv\/offices-services\/online\/PublishingImages\/myNCDMV%20Web%20Placement%20-%20All%20Services%20(744x300).png\" alt=\"North Carolina myDMV Login\" data-themekey=\"#\" \/><\/picture><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ncdotElement-heading--beta\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Transaction Fee<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">PayIt \u2013 the vendor that provides the myNCDMV secure online payment service \u2013 charges users a $3\u00a0fee per transaction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">For example, you can renew the registration for two vehicles and order a duplicate registration card for another in the same session and only pay one $3\u00a0fee\u00a0for all three transactions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">PayIt\u2019s transaction fees are similar to those of other payment services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ncdotElement-DOTParagraph\">The state of North Carolina does not collect or benefit from the transaction fee. The transaction fee is charged and collected by PayIt, the vendor that provides the online payment service.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header btn--w-icon btn--w-icon-left list-toggle__btn expanded list-toggle__btn--active\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do I access myNCDMV?<\/span><\/h2>\n<div>\u200bYou can access myNCDMV fromthe NCDMV website or download the myNCDMV app for your <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/myncdmv\/id1434083150?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iOS<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.mobilgov.nc&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Android<\/a> mobile device.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header btn--w-icon btn--w-icon-left list-toggle__btn expanded list-toggle__btn--active\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Do I have to set up a profile to use myNCDMV?<\/span><\/h2>\n<div>No. You do not need a profile to use myNCDMV on the NCDMV website. But you must create a profile to use the myNCDMV mobile app.<\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-content list-toggle__p\">\n<div class=\"ExternalClass8E252A1A4FF24839AFED9A150F8B27BA\">To create a profile, you will need an email address. Having a profile allows you to electronically store your receipts and view your transaction history.<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">What are the benefits of using the new myNCDMV (PayIt), compared with the old services?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Unlike the old way of completing NCDMV online services, PayIt delivers a user-friendly mobile and website application that allows users to complete multiple services in a single transaction.<\/p>\n<p>There are also other benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>myNCDMV uses a technology that has a smart, responsive interface that completes more transactions faster.<\/li>\n<li>NCDMV can now accept electronic check payments, compared to the old platform that only accepted credit card payments.<\/li>\n<li>Creating\u00a0a profile within myNCDMV allows users to enter their personal information one time, view their transaction history and set reminders for future services.<\/li>\n<li>The app is also expandable and will enable the N.C.
