To activate YouTube on your Smart TV, login into yt.be\/activate enter the blue TV code shown on your TV. Remember, once a device is removed, you\u2019ll need to use a new code if you ever want to link the device again.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

If you have a Smart TV or other streaming device and you enter a code at yt.be to link your mobile device to that device, you can view YouTube on your TV even if you aren’t connected to Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n

    Open the YouTube app on your Smart TV or streaming device.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Go to Settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Scroll to Link with TV code. A blue TV code will show on your TV.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Have your phone or tablet ready and continue with the steps in the “Enter the code” section at yt.be.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Remove devices linked with a\u00a0code<\/span><\/h2>\n

      You can remove any linked devices by following the steps below. Remember, once a device is removed, you\u2019ll need to use a new code if you ever want to link the device again.<\/p>\n

      Unlink using your Smart TV or streaming device<\/h3>\n

      1. On your Smart TV or streaming device, open the YouTube app.<\/li>\n
      2. Go to Settings\u00a0\"\"<\/li>\n
      3. Select\u00a0Linked devices<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Select\u00a0Unlink all devices<\/strong> to unlink all devices at once.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Unlink using\u00a0your phone or tablet<\/h3>\n

        1. On your phone or tablet, open\u00a0the YouTube app.<\/li>\n
        2. Select your profile picture\u00a0\"\".<\/li>\n
        3. Tap\u00a0Settings.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        4. Select\u00a0Watch on TV.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        5. Select\u00a0Delete Devices.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        6. Tap\u00a0DELETE<\/strong> to remove the linked Smart TV or streaming device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Amazon Fire TV<\/span><\/h1>\n

          You can watch YouTube and use Amazon Alexa to control the YouTube app on most Amazon Fire TV devices. You can download the official YouTube app from the Amazon app store.<\/p>\n

          Sign in to YouTube on your Amazon Fire TV<\/span><\/h2>\n

          Step 1: Find the activation code and sign in<\/h3>\n
            \n
          1. Go to the Sign in screen in the YouTube app and stay on this screen until you’ve completed the remaining steps.<\/li>\n
          2. Visit\u00a0youtube.com\/tv\/activate\u00a0on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>\n
          3. Sign in when you’re asked to. If you have a few Google Accounts, select the account you use with YouTube. If you’re already signed in, skip to the steps below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Step 2: Complete the activation process<\/h3>\n
