To access these services, UAN Members need to register at UAN Portal using the link https:\/\/unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in\/memberinterface\/ and can then login to the portal.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How to activate UAN for EPF?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>To get UAN EPF Registration, it is important to have a Universal Account number and Provident Fund member ID. Below mentioned steps are required to activate UAN for EPF-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The very first step required for UAN EPF is to visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.epfindia.gov.in\/\">www.epfindia.gov.in<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>After that, click on the \u2018<strong>Our Services\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0page and select \u2018<strong>For employees\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0in the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<li>After selecting the option\u2019\u00a0<strong>For employee\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0in the drop-down menu, click on \u2018<strong>Member UAN\/Online Services\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0which will take you to the UAN Member Portal.<\/li>\n<li>On the UAN Member Portal click on \u2018<strong>Activate your UAN\u2019<\/strong>, which is located under \u2018<strong>Important Links\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0on the right-hand side.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the details as required for UAN EPF Registration-<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Universal Account Number<\/li>\n<li>Registered mobile number.<\/li>\n<li>Provident Fund Member ID.<\/li>\n<li>After entering the above details, enter the captcha code and click on \u2018<strong>Get authorization PIN\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Additional documents and details required for UAN EPF \u2013<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Id Proof of the Applicant,<\/li>\n<li>Address Proof of the Applicant,<\/li>\n<li>Bank Account Number along with the branch details and IFSC details.<\/li>\n<li>PAN card of the applicant should be linked to UAN.<\/li>\n<li>ESIC Card.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After clicking the<strong>(Get authorization PIN),<\/strong>\u00a0the respective person will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number mentioned on the page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After receiving the OTP, click on the \u2018I Agree\u2019 option and enter the OTP as received on the registered mobile number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the OTP is entered by the person, click on \u2018<strong>Validate OTP and Activate UAN\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Further, to access the Universal Account Number in the future, a user will get a password on the registered mobile number.
