Some advantages of using\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with any device and most browsers<\/li>\n<li>Error-reducing automatic calculators<\/li>\n<li>Verification that all required information is included on your return before it is submitted<\/li>\n<li>Instant confirmation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can access many features directly from the\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0homepage without needing to create a username or password. Additional options are offered exclusively to users who opt to create an account.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Recent changes to myPATH<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On November 30, 2022,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0services were expanded to include online services for most business taxes administered by the department. In addition, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0homepage panels, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0sign up process, and some logged in options have changed.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Changes\u00a0to the\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0homepage (non-logged in)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>New panels for\u00a0<em>Additional Services<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Tax Compliance<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Learn More<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Respond to a Letter, Find a Submission, and Track My Inheritance Tax Return options are being moved to a new\u00a0<em>Additional Services<\/em>\u00a0panel<\/li>\n<li>All tax due dates will be available from the\u00a0<em>Additional Services<\/em>\u00a0panel<\/li>\n<li>The existing Individuals panel will be replaced with a\u00a0<em>Returns<\/em>\u00a0panel<\/li>\n<li>A new service to File a Use Tax Return will be available from the\u00a0<em>Returns<\/em>\u00a0panel<\/li>\n<li>A new service to Request a Corporate Lien Certificate will be available from the new\u00a0<em>Tax Compliance<\/em>\u00a0panel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Changes to the\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0sign up process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>When signing up for a\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0logon as a First Party or Business Owner, an access letter will no longer be required unless there is Federal Tax Information (FTI) on the account you are attempting to gain access to.\n<ul>\n<li>Customers will be able to gain access to their account(s) by verifying detail about an account they own.<\/li>\n<li>This allows instant access to their account(s) without the need to wait for a letter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>When signing up for a\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0logon as a Third party, it is no longer required that your client have a\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0first party\/owner logon.\n<ul>\n<li>When requesting account access to a client\u2019s account, the department no longer requires the client to sign up as a first party for\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>. Third parties will be able to gain access to accounts they manage on behalf of their client(s) by verifying detail about the account if the client has not signed up for a\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0profile.<\/li>\n<li>If the client is signed up for a\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0profile, the client will have to grant the third party access to their account(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Changes you may see when logged into your\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0profile<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For First Party\/Primary Administrators, if you have Business Tax accounts registered under the same SSN\/FEIN, you may now see additional tax types on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0when logging in.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a First Party, you will have the option to \u201cAdd Access\u201d to these accounts without further validation.<\/li>\n<li>These tax accounts include, but are not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Sales and Use Tax<\/li>\n<li>Employer Withholding Tax<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Net Income Tax<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Third Parties will have the option to request access to their client\u2019s Business Tax accounts on\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>. Business Tax accounts being added include, but are not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Sales and Use Tax<\/li>\n<li>Employer Withholding Tax<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Net Income Tax<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0logons will have the option to sign up for due date reminders for select account types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>New Filing Options Coming to\u00a0<a style=\"color: #800000;\" title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to file and make payments for additional business tax accounts including, but not limited to sales and use tax, employer withholding tax, and specialty corporation taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Bulk upload files and payments for sales tax and employer withholding accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How to Enroll for myPATH<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Although some\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0features are available without the need to establish a username or password, you may be required to sign up for a profile to use features for some tax types.\u00a0When signing up, please consider the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A unique email address<\/strong>\u00a0that is not associated with any other\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0profile<\/li>\n<li><strong>Usernames<\/strong>\u00a0must be a minimum of\u00a0<strong>5 characters<\/strong>\u00a0(no special characters)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Passwords<\/strong>\u00a0must be a minimum of\u00a0<strong>8 characters<\/strong>\u00a0and must contain at least one of the following:\u00a0<strong>uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Primary phone number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you create a username and password to use\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0as a tax account holder, your profile gives you full access to your own tax account information with the ability to also grant access to other\u00a0<a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myPATH<\/a>\u00a0users.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" href=\"https:\/\/mypath.pa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revenue.pa.gov\/OnlineServices\/mypath\/PublishingImages\/myPATH_1199x210.png\" alt=\"myPATH - Pennsylvania Tax Hub\" width=\"652\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"AccordionHeader\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Which ID Type Should I Use to Register?<\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"7185d5b8-2f5b-4c08-a9df-97f8f5f62214dvAccordionItemContent\" class=\"pai-Accordion-panel\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"df5fbf3b-d5bc-4da0-9dd7-0691aefaa3e7btnPAI_AccordionHeader\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u200bSocial Security Number<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you have already filed income taxes in Pennsylvania, register using your SSN to access your\u00a0<strong>personal income tax\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>sole proprietor<\/strong>\u00a0tax account information.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Federal Employer ID<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are a\u00a0<strong>business owner<\/strong>, register using your FEIN to manage your business tax account(s).<\/li>\n<li><strong>PATH ID<\/strong><br \/>\nEach taxpayer in the department\u2019s tax system is assigned a unique\u00a0<strong>10-digit PATH ID<\/strong>.
